Good evening Fight Fans, and welcome to our coverage for tonight's edition of MLW Fusion!
- We open tonight's show with a video package promo by Josef Samael ahead of Calvin Tankman challenging Jacob Fatu for the MLW World Heavyweight Championship next week.
Gino Medina vs Zenshi
The two exchange wrist locks and headlocks before Zenshi sends Gino out of the ring and hits a head scissors into a standing moonsault for two. Gino catches Zenshi in midair with a Code Breaker for two before hitting a snap mare into a reverse chin lock before chopping Zenshi and setting him backwards on the top turnbuckle. Gino rips at the mask of Zenshi before Zenshi knocks him off and hits a 450 into a Spanish fly for two before hitting a Pele kick into a roll up for two. Zenshi then hits a slingshot twisting senton for two before Gino hits a snake eyes into an inside cradle for two before pinning Zenshi with a question mark kick he calls Eat Defeat for the pin and the win.
Winner: Gino Medina defeats Zenshi via pinfall.
- After the match we are told that the status of Tom Lawlor is in the air for our main event as we go to commercial.
- We get a taped promo by Myron Reed ahead of Injustice's match against Contra Unit next week.
Mil Muertes (w/ Salina de la Renta) vs Gringo Loco
Gringo mocks Mil and goes toe to toe with him before Mil rocks him with an open hand chop before spearing him and beating on him in mount. Mil stomps Gringo and drops him with a headbutt before smashing his face into the apron and hits a backbreaker at ringside before rolling him back inside. Mil clotheslines Gringo and smashes his head into the mat while choking him before choking him in the ropes and sending him throat first into the bottom rope. Mil beats on Gringo in the corner before Gringo comes back with a flurry for one before Mil hits a spinning chokeslam for a near fall. Mil then hits a powerslam for a near fall before hitting Straight to Hell for the pin and the win.
Winner: Mil Muertes defeats Gringo Loco via pinfall.
- We get a taped promo by Alex Hammerstone who says that he's going to get the National Openweight Championship that Mil stole from him on April 14th.
- Backstage we get an update on Tom Lawlor who has an injured bicep and the chain rope match will now be a traditional tag without Tom and ACH.
- We get a video package promo for Calvin Tankman as we go to commercial.
Calvin Tankman vs Sentai Death Squad Member Zag
The two exchange strikes until Calvin sends Zag across the ring with a shoulder tackle into a spine buster before dropping him with a back fist for the pin and the win.
Winner: Calvin Tankman defeats Sentai Death Squad Member Zag via pinfall.
- After the match Contra Unit come out and Calvin and Injustice take out Contra before the two sides brawl.
- We get an interview with Salina outside where she says that she and Mil accept Alex's challenge before the representative for El Jefé says that their boss isn't happy and wants to meet.
Chain Ropes Tag Team Match
The Von Erichs vs Violence is Forever (w/ Tom Lawlor)
The four men brawl before VIF are nearly whipped out of the ring before Ross is sent out of the ring and one of the chains hits him in the side of the head. Back in the ring Tom chokes Marshall in the chains before Ku locks in an Indian Death Lock on Ross and Marshall drops Tom with a flurry of clubbing blows. Dom locks in a heel hook on Ross as Kevin locks in a knee bar on Marshall before they exchange strikes until Ross gets whipped into the chains. Marshall is dumped over the top chain before VIF hit a GTS into a dragon sleeper and a German suplex for a near fall before Marshall catches the brass knuckles. Marshall then takes out both members of VIF with brass knuckles before Ross wins with the Von Erich Claw for the win.
Winner: The Von Erichs defeat Violence is Forever via pinfall.
