NATE BRADLEY DEFEATED JACE VALOR IN A 2 OUT OF 3 FALLS MATCH TO BECOME THE NEW WKS REVOLUTION CHAMPION
Last year, the two men to both START and END the 2023 Revolution Rumble match were Nate Bradley and Jace Valor. The conclusion of their Rumble finish has been mired in controversy, so it was appropriate for the two athletes to meet in a two out of three falls contest to settle who the better man truly is, this time with the WKS Revolution Championship at stake.
Valor has done whatever it takes to hold on to the title since winning it last April and continued that hear, kicking Bradley's head off before the bell to get a quick victory off the bat, going one up right away. An intense back and forth saw both men show frustration, but it was Valor who went too far, striking the referee over a blown call, leading to the official disqualifying Valor as the second fall, leading to the third and final decision when Bradley managed to hoist up Valor with a Loopy Bomb for the win and to get the victory!
After the new champion left the ring, the former, Jace Valor, in an emotional moment removed his ring shoes and left them in the center of the ring before bowing and thanking the crowd. It seems as though Jace Valor has "hung up his boots" and WildKat Sports would like to thank him for the last 8 years. Thank you, Jace Valor.
THE BRIAN KENDRICK DEFEATED BRADY PIERCE AND DANNY FLAMINGO TO BECOME THE NEW WILDKAT SPORTS CHAMPION!
Danny Flamingo shocked everyone when he defeated Brady Pierce to finally become WildKat Champion! No one was more shocked than the now former champion Brady Pierce, who has relentlessly pursued Flamingo all year in an attempt to reclaim the gold in what's become a very personal rivalry. A monkey wrench was thrown into the mix when THE Brian Kendrick earned a championship shot at the Rumble, ultimately leading to this Triple Threat match up. In the match's closing moments, it seemed as though Pierce had the match won over Kendrick, but Brady pulled Brian's shoulders up before the three, just to add more insult to injury. Pierce's cockiness backfired though, as Kendrick quickly rolled up Brady for the three and the win! THE Brian Kendrick is now the NEW WildKat Champion! Kendrick celebrated before shaking the hand of the now former champion Danny Flamingo, who was not ultimately involved in the final decision. Kendrick gave Danny the ring, allowing a moment for the fans to show their respect to Flamingo.
SIMON PHILIPS WINS THE 2024 REVOLUTION RUMBLE MATCH
What a Rumble! 10 years after the first Revolution Rumble event, the 2024 edition was full of surprises, including the return of WildKat's first ever Tag Team Champions the Pump Patrol, The Outlaw Matt Lancie's return to competition after injury, Color analyst David Powers and ring announcer Edward King, and a special appearance from the World's Strongest Santa Mark Henry!
The final four came down to Edge Stone, Tyree Taylor, and both Mickey Drama and Simon Philips of the Drama Club. The impressive Stone and Tyree tussled before stone was eliminated, allowing the Drama Club to double team Taylor before Tyree eliminated Mickey, leaving Tyree Taylor and Simon Philips as the final two. As always, once the Revolution Rumble comes down to the final two competitors, the match restarts as a one-on-one contest, with the winner only being declared by pinfall or submission.
Out of no where, two masked unknowns ran to the ring, distracting Tyree Taylor. This interference, as well as Mickey Drama striking Taylor with Drama's Kat Scratch Trophy, allowed Philips to overwhrlm Tyree to get the victory! Simon Philips wins the 2024 Revolution Rumble! Mickey Drama and the two masked assailants entered the ring to celebrate with Simon. Even though it was Philips who had won the Rumble, it was Mickey Drama who was hoisted up on the shoulders of the apparent ever growing Drama Club
LUKE HAWX DEFEATS HIS SON PJ HAWX IN THE STEEL CAGE MAIN EVENT
The personal issues between Luke Hawx and his son PJ Hawx have been brewing for years, spilling over into each's professional life, affecting everything at WildKat Sports during the last year. This steel cage was an attempt for both men to settle their issues in the ring like only two proud professional wrestlers can. The match was, as expected, exceedingly brutal, with both men bleeding at the hands of the other. The contest was a breathtaking as it was brutal, with PJ hitting a crossbody off the top of the cage, reminiscent of his viral leap off the Esplanade Mall, Luke returning with a Powerslam to PJ off the top in return. The powerslam seemed to go wrong, so PJ didn't move after, leading the referee and eventually Luke to call for the paramedic. PJ revealed to be playing possum, however, leaping to his feet to attack his father from behind. Back and forth both men went, both relentless and neither willing to give up the fight. Mercifully, both men eventually succame to attrition, with Luke managing the technical pinfall victory. After a devastating contest, Luke extended his hand to his son in hopes to put this all behind them. PJ looked long and had at his father's hand before instead slapping Luke in the face. PJ flipped off Luke before exiting the cage, leaving a tearful Luke Hawx behind. Luke's long time friend Chris Harper and his own father came to the ring to console the emotional Luke to close the show.
Emotion certainly was the theme of the evening. Thank you to the 1,500+ fans for an unforgettable Revolution Rumble!
