Hey Fight Fans, we hope you enjoyed Smackdown on FOX and are ready for tonight's edition of 205 Live headlined by a match between the champion Angel Garza and the former champion Tony Nese!
Ariya Daivari vs Danny Burch
Ariya takes control early and reclines on the top turnbuckle before they lock up and Danny takes Ariya down to the mat before wrenching his neck and taking him down with a side headlock takeover. Ariya gets to his feet and Danny backs him into the ropes before applying an elevated headlock with Ariya propped on the top rope before Danny goes and reclines on the top turnbuckle. They run the ropes before Danny hits a variation of a flap jack and stomps Ariya in the corner before rocking him with an uppercut. Ariya yanks Danny from the top and sends him crashing down onto the mat before he rolls out of the ring and Ariya goes out after him. Ariya sends Danny into the barricade and plays to the crowd before tossing him back into the ring for two before dropping him with a single leg dropkick when he gets to his feet.
Ariya rips and tears at the face of Danny before locking in a chin bar and Danny counters with a jawbreaker only for Ariya to hit a neckbreaker for two. Danny gets his foot up when Ariya goes for a diving punch and comes back with right hands and forearms into an uppercut and a back elbow. Danny hits a running clothesline in the corner into an enzuigiri and a missile dropkick for a near fall before nearly knocking him out with a headbutt for another near fall. Ariya catches Danny coming in with a boot and sets him on the top rope before pulling him down for a near fall and drags him to the corner before playing to the crowd. Ariya then misses a diving splash before Danny locks in a cross face and the referee is distracted by a mystery man in a mask before Ariya low blows Danny and hits him with a wrist lock lariat for the pin and the win.
Winner: Ariya Daivari defeats Danny Burch via pinfall with a wrist lock lariat.
-After the match the masked man reveals himself to be The Brian Kendrick who says that he founded the Cruiserweight division and is the best thing to happen to Cruiserweight Wrestling before hitting Danny with Sliced Bread #2 as we go to commercial.
The Singh Brothers vs Anthony Storm & Corey Wayne
Samir drops Corey immediately and beats on him before hitting a kitchen sink and the Singhs drop him with a double back elbow. Storm gets the tag to Corey after he whips Sunile into the corner and Corey takes our Sunile before Samir hits a wheel kick and the Singhs hit a double superkick into the Bollywood Blast for the pin and the win.
Winner: The Singh Brothers defeat a local team via pinfall with the Bollywood Blast.
Angel Garza vs Tony Nese
Garza immediately rolls out of the ring plays to the crowd before taking his time getting back in, only to slide back out and back in. Tony slaps Angel when he goes to shake his hand before Tony takes Angel down with a waist lock and flexes before Angel poses and they have a test of strength. Angel hits an arm drag before they run the ropes until Angel catches Tony in the ropes and drags him out of the ring before sending him into the stairs. Angel tosses Tony back into the ring for two before setting him on the top turnbuckle backwards and puts him in the tree of woe before hitting a running PK for two. Angel hits a draping neckbreaker for two before wedging Tony in the corner and Tony knocks him off of the top turnbuckle before Tony hits a jumping leg drop for two.
Tony locks in a body scissors before dropping Angel with a whirlwind kick for a near fall and gets a two count off of a back slide. They exchange superkicks before collapsing before they exchange open hand palm strikes until Angel drops Tony with clotheslines and a dropkick. Angel hits a springboard arm drag and rips his pants off before superkicking Tony for a near fall before Tony comes back with a frankensteiner for a near fall of his own and Angel counters the Running Nese. They counter each other before Angel sends Tony over the top rope and down onto the floor before hitting an Asai moonsault to ringside. Back in the ring Tony locks in a Boston crab before Angel gets to the ropes for the break and Tony hits a bridging German suplex for a near fall.
Tony then hits a Fosbury flop before Angel counters a springboard moonsault and Angel hits the Wing Clipper for the pin and the win.
Winner: Angel Garza defeats Tony Nese via pinfall with the Wing Clipper.
