- After a video package highlighting the proceedings of NXT Worlds Collide 2022 (results for the show here), Vic Joseph & Wade Barrett welcomed the audience to the broadcast before quickly transitioning to the opening segment.
- Tyler Bate came to the ring to cut a promo. Bate thanked the audience from the very bottom of his heart to everyone to watched NXT Worlds Collide & NXT UK before thanking Unified NXT Champion Bron Breakker. Bate said that he and Breakker made magic and that he was happy to share the memory of the fan. Gallus (Mark Coffey, Joe Coffey & Wolfgang) interrupted Bate and told Bate that he should be apologizing to everyone in the United Kingdom., specifically Scotland (where they are from). Bate pointed out that Gallus missed their chance to become Unified NXT UK Champions. Bate punched Joe Coffey in the head, but Gallus outnumbered Bate before Breakker came to the ring to make the save. Breakker challenged Gallus to a tag team match for later in the night.
- Unified NXT Tag Team Champions Pretty Deadly (Kit Wilson & Elton Prince) celebrated that they became the unified champions, asking if they were the greatest tag team in NXT Champion. Lash Legend joined the celebrations but mentioned that people were saying that they won because of Damon Kemp's interference. Wilson & Prince hooted * Hollered before leaving the scene.
Doudrop & Nikki ASH vs. Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne.
The two locked up before Doudrop hit an elbow drop on Dolin. Jayne and Dolin double teamed ASH before Jayne got a near fall on ASH. ASH hit a bulldog on Jayne for a near fall before locking in a modified headlock on Jayne. ASH slammed Jayne onto the mat and climbed to the top rope, but Jayne pushed her out of the ring before hitting a running cannonball on ASH to the outside. Dolin hit running kick on Doudrop. Back in the ring, ASH got Jayne in a small package for a near fall before hitting a sunset bomb on Jayne for a near fall. Jayne laid the punches on Jayne before hitting a knee strike on Jayne’s back. Jayne hit a lariat on ASH before tagging on Dolin, who hit a headbutt on ASH. Dolin hit a chop on ASH before Jayne stomped down ASH. Jayne hit a back elbow on ASH before hitting her with a running senton for a near fall. Dolin tagged in and laid her boots on ASH’s neck before locking in a modified Kimura Lock on ASH. Jayne hit a boot on ASH for a near fall. Jayne got ASH in a Camel Clutch before transitioning to a guillotine choke on Nikki. Jayne then transitioned into a headlock before hitting a running neck breaker on ASH. Jayne went for a running sexton, but ASH evaded and tagged in Doudrop. Doudrop hit a headbutt, a lariat, and a leg trip on Dolin. Doudrop dropped Jayne onto Dolon before hitting the two with a running senton for a near fall. Doudrop hit a back suppler and a running cannonball on Dolin before connecting the Vader Bomb for a near fall. ASH slammed Jayne into the apron before laying in the strikes on Jayne. Dolin went for a crossbody, but Doudrop caught her with a Michinoku Driver before hitting a running crossbody on ASH for the pinball win, with Doudrop sporting a bloody nose after the proceeding.
Winners: Doudrop & Nikki ASH.
- Apollo Crews was in a lake writing some notes, recalling his feud with Grayson Waller. Crews said that he was not afraid of the unknown before revealing that he had a red eye.
JD McDonagh vs. Wes Lee.
The match began with JD getting Lee in a headlock, but Lee broke the hold and hit two arm drags, a lateral press, and a back elbow on Jd. Lee flipped over JD. JD hit a strike on Lee’s neck on the apron before laying his boot in the corner. Lee hit an arm drag and a dropkick on JD to the outside. Lee hit a Tope on JD before the picture-in-picture break. During the break, the two continued to brawl on the outside before getting back in the ring. Lee hit an enziguri kick on the apron on JD before climbing to the top rope, but JD caught him with a leaping enziguri kick before sending him crashing into the outside of the ring. Back in the ring, JD hit multiple strikes on Lee before hitting a suplex on Lee. McDonagh got Lee in an arm lock while snapping his fingers. Back from the break, JD continued to target Lee's arm before Lee laid in some strikes on McDonagh. Lee it multiple body shots, an enziguri kick, a snap-mare, a superkick to the neck, and a double stomp to the back of JD. JD rolled out of the ring before hitting a vicious Tope Suicida on McDonagh. Back in the ring, Lee hit a Meteora on McDonagh for a near fall. JD went for a German Suplex, but Lee landed on his feet and hit a running kick on JD's back. Lee hit a leaping knee strike, but JD caught him with a headbutt with his big ass head. Lee got a near fall on Lee before hitting a deadlift Saito Suplex (called the Devlin Inside) for the pinfall win.
Winner: JD McDonagh.
- Tony D'Angelo & Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo were drinking coffee backstage before being confronted by Pretty Deadly. D'Angelo asked Pretty Deadly if he had Kemp screw Diamond Mine for free, but they hooted and hollered by saying that they did it on their own before storming out of the scene.
Roxanne Perez vs. Meiko Satomura.
Perez & Satomura began the match locking up before Satomura got a hammerlock on Perez, but Perez got a hammerlock of her own. Satomura broke the hold and got a guillotine on Perez, but Perez got a headlock on Satomura. Satomura hit a diving shoulder tackle on Perez before hitting a wrist lock kick and a double knee strike on Perez. Satomura got Perez in an arm bar, but Perez turned it into a pin for a near fall. Perez hit two arm drags before getting a wrist lock on Satomura, but Meiko broke the hold before the two stared at each other. Perez got a roll-up on Satomura for a near fall. Perez got a Victory Roll on Meiko for a near fall, but Satomura reversed it into a pin. Meiko transitioned into a pin for a near fall, but Perez locked in a cross face on Meiko. Meiko got a rope break and hit a forearm strike on Perez, but Perez hit a running kick on Satomura before hitting a tope Suicida on Satomura. Back in the ring, Perez got a guillotine choke on Satomura, but Satomura turned it into a waist lock. Perez locked in a guillotine again, but Satomura leaned Perez into the corner. Satomura & Perez exchanged strikes before Satomura hit a forearm strike on Perez. Satomura got Perez in the disarmer arm bar before stomping Perez's head. Meiko hit a vicious kick across Perez's chest. Perez went for a spin kick, but Meiko caught it and hit a vicious kick on Perez's head. Meiko hit a flipping knee strike on Perez for a near fall. Meiko Satomura got Perez in a back stretch submission. Perez broke the hold and started exchanging strikes with Satomura. Perez hit two double forearm strikes, a shotgun dropkick, and an uppercut. Satomura hit a boot on Perez and went for a fireman's carry, but Perez reversed it into a Russian leg sweep for a near fall before quickly transitioning into the Koji Clutch. Satomura hit a leg lariat on Perez. The two climbed to the top rope before Perez hit a Frankensteiner on Satomura for a near fall. Satomura hit a Pele Kick on Perez before hitting Scorpio Rising for the decisive pinfall win.
Winner: Meiko Satomura.
- Cora Jade attacked Perez after the match but was stopped by Satomura. Jade walked out through the ramp before Satomura lifted Perez's hand in the air.
- Bron Breakker & Tyler Bate were backstage ahead of their match against Gallus, with Breakker telling him to focus on kicking Gallus' ass later in the night.
- Damon Kemp cut a sitdown promo, with his position in Diamond Mine being the reason why he turned his back on Diamond Mine. Kemp said that he was the one that tried to stir the pot among Diamond Mine for not being valued in the faction. Kemp then said that it was not Diamond Mine forever, but Damon Kemp forever.
- The Dyad gave Kiana James a pin from out of nowhere. James threw the pin into the trash before she shouted at someone on the phone. James confronted Ariana Grace and invited her to a meeting for a later date.
Ricochet vs. Trick Williams (w/ Carmelo Hayes).
NXT North American Champion joined the broadcast team for the match. Ricochet began the match by hitting a vicious knee strike on Williams. Ricochet attacked Williams on the outside before exchanging words with Hayes. Ricochet hit a wrist lock takedown on Williams. Williams hit a strike on Ricochet before stomping him down and hitting an Irish Whip on Ricochet. Williams hit a corner splash and went for a suplex on Williams, but Ricochet evaded and ran the ropes, but Williams caught him with a pop-up jab for a near fall. Ricochet went for a top rope move, but Williams slammed Ricochet's head into the top rope. Hayes instructed Williams to slam Ricochet's head into the broadcast table, to which he obliged. Back in the ring, Ricochet got a small package on Williams for a near fall before connecting a spinning neck breaker on Ricochet for a near fall. Ricochet hit two forearm strikes, a springboard splash, a springboard elbow drop, and the Recoil on Williams. Ricochet stared daggers at Hayes before hitting a Shooting Star press on Williams for the pinfall win.
Winner: Ricochet.
- Tony D'ANgelo & Lorenzo talked backstage before Cameron Grimes came in. Grimes rejected D'Angelo's offer to join the faction because he did not need anybody, but D'Angelo said that the last people that told him no were kicked out. Grimes and D'Angelo brawled before Lorenzo hit a Uranage on Grimes onto a kitchen table.
- There was a video vignette promoting Sol Ruca coming to NXT 2.0.
- Brutus, Julius Creed & Ivy Nile were interviewed backstage before saying that Damon Kemp is a dead man. Pretty Deadly confronted The Creed Brothers and informed them that they will allow the fans to pick a stipulation to prove themselves once and foreall.
Nathan Frazier vs. Axiom.
The first of three matches between Frazier and Axiom began with the two exchanging holds before Axiom got a wrist lock on Frazier. Frazier hit an arm drag on Axiom, but Axiom maintained the hold. Frazier went for a wrist lock takedown, but Axiom landed on his feet. Frazier hit a shoulder tackle on Axiom before getting a backslide for a near fall. The two exchanged pin attempts before staring at each other Axiom got Frazier in a headlock, but Frazier quickly transitioned into a waist lock. Frazier hit a single-leg dropkick on Axiom before connecting a Tope Suicida on Axiom to the outside. Back in the ring, Frazier hit a chop on Axiom in the corner for a near fall. Axiom hit an arm slam on Frazier before stomping Frazier's head, seemingly bumping up his aggression. Axiom got Frazier in a Fujiwara arm-bar before kicking Frazier's arm and stomping him down. Axiom hit a knee strike on Frazier's abdomen before locking in a hammerlock on Frazier on the mat. Axiom cinched the hammerlock deep on Frazier's back, but Frazier broke the hold by hitting elbow strikes on his head. Axiom hit a Tope Suicida on Frazier to the outside. Back in the ring, Axion hit a top rope cross body on Frazier for a near fall before locking in an inverted Kimura Lock on Frazier. Frazier broke the hold by hitting a twisting suplex on Axiom. Frazier hit two forearm strikes & a spring board scorpion slam on Axiom for a near fall. Axiom got an inside cradle on Frazier for a near fall, but Frazier caught him with a sling blade. Axiom got Frazier into a Triangle Choke before transitioning into another submission, but Frazier got a rope break.Frazier rolled through Axiom to lock in a Boston Crab, quickly transitioning into a torque Single-Leg Crab on Axiom but Axiom got a rope break. Axiom hit a forearm strike on Frazier for a near fall, but Axiom quickly responded with a Double Leg Lariat on Frazier for the pinfall win.
Winner: Axiom.
- Javier Bernal confronted the Security Guards to show off. The Security team escorted Gallus into the ring, leaving Bernal stunned and livid from the main guards' statements.
- Quincy Elliot rolled around in his scooter, saying that he was coming to NXT 2.0 on the 9/13/2022 edition of NXT.
- Trick Williams & Carmelo Hayes were interviewed backstage, where McKenzie Mitchell revealed that he would face an opponent of the fans' choice on the 1-Year Anniversary of NXT 2.0.
Joe Coffey & Mark Coffey (w/ Wolfgang) vs. Bron Breakker & Tyler Bate.
Breakker & Joe locked up before Breakker got Joe in a headlock. Breakker and Bate exchanged shoulder tackles before Breakker hita lariat on Coffey. Breakker hit a body slam before Bate hit a Swanton Bomb on Joe for a near fall. Joe hit a uppercut on Bate before he and Mark hit double cops on Bate. Mark went for an arm drag, but Bate reversed it with a headlock before hitting a wrist lock dropkick on Mark. Breakker and Bate hit Standing Suplexes on The Coffey Brothers before connecting standing moonsaults on them. Mrk Coffey hit a snap-mare headlock on Breakker, but Breakker got a wrist lock on Coffey. Bate got a side headlock on Mark Coffey. Mark got up, but Bate hit a side headlock takedown on Mark Coffey. Bate hit a head-scissors and a dropkick on Mark Coffey to send him to the outside. Bate hit an over-the-top Tope Suicida on Mark. Wolfgang slammed Bate into the ring post as Joe and Breakker were arguing. Joe Coffey hit a sideslam on Bate for a near fall. Mark & Joe hit a back drop/ low lariat on Bate for a near fall. Joe Coffey hit a suplex on Bate for a near fall. Joe went for a Bear Hug on Bate before slamming him into the corner. Joe Coffey hit a forearm strike on Bate's back before locking in another Bear Hug. Bate hit a sunset flip on Joe Coffey to break the hold. Bate walked under Joe before tagging in Breakker. Breakker hit two shoulder tackles and a powerslam on Joe. Breakker hit an overhead suplex on Joe Coffey before hitting a spine buster on Mark Coffey. Breakker & Bate hit the Doomsday Bulldog on Mark for a near fall. Breakker sucker-punched Wolfgang before Breakker hit a spear on Joe Coffey. Bate hit the Tyler Driver 97 on Mark Coffey for the pinfall win.
