Hey Fight Fans, and welcome to our coverage for today's coverage of the return of NXT UK!
- We open today's show with a video package with promo inserts by nearly every stable and member of the roster before we open with a new theme and video.
- Assistant to the General Manager Sid Scala welcomes us in the ring before he is interrupted by Ilja Dragunov. Ilja gets into the ring and says that he's been waiting for six months for a shot at WALTER's NXT UK Championship. Noam Dar comes out and mocks Ilja before Ilja hits a suicide dive and they exchange in the ring until they're separated. Sid then announces that Dar and Dragunov will face off in the main event.
Gallus (Mark Coffey & Wolfgang) vs Kenny Williams & Amir Jordan
Mark and Amir start the match off with Mark dropping Amir with a shoulder block before they run the ropes and Mark gets two off of a back slide. Amir locks in a side headlock before dropkicking Mark and tagging in Kenny who hits an ax handle off of the top. Mark tags in Wolfgang before Amir and Kenny isolate one half of the tag champs until Wolfgang nearly turns Amir inside out with a clothesline. Mark drops Amir with a flying uppercut before Wolfgang comes in and locks in a straight armbar. Mark gets the tag and locks in a cravat on Amir before Amir drops Wolfgang with an enzuigiri and gets the hot tag to Kenny.
Kenny hits a head scissors into a bulldog into the corner before hitting a springboard clothesline. Kenny sends Mark out of the ring before countering a military press into a roll up for a near fall. Kenny hits a PK before Wolfgang hits a back suplex and Mark hits a bridging back suplex for a near fall. Kenny gets a near fall off of a crucifix before dropping Mark and tagging in Amir who hits a diving senton for a near fall that Wolfgang breaks up. Mark then knocks Kenny off of the apron before hitting Amir with an enzuigiri into a power slam by Wolfgang for the pin and the win.
Winner: Gallus defeat Amir Jordan and Kenny Williams via pinfall.
- The rest of the NXT UK Tag Team division come out and surround the ring as we go to commercial.
- We get a promo by Saxon Huxley behind a piece of chain link fencing.
- The NXT UK Women's champion Kay Lee Ray comes out to the ring and says that she will be defending her title against Piper Niven next week. KLR talk about their contributions to women's wrestling in the UK before saying that everyone will find out that she's just a little bit better than Piper. Piper comes out to and says KLR is all talk these days and that she should tell everyone the truth of how many times she's beaten Kay Lee Ray in Japan and the UK. KLR then says that Piper hasn't beaten this version of Kay Lee Ray before she goes for a cheap shot, but Piper is ready.
- We get a video package for Isla Dawn and Aoife Valkyrie ahead of their match up next as we go to commercial.
Isla Dawn vs Aoife Valkyrie
Aoife locks in a side headlock before hitting a side headlock take over and Isla is quick to get back to her feet. They run the ropes before Aoife hits a spinning heel kick and a springboard cross body for two. Aoife takes Isla back down to the mat before hitting a head scissors and Isla kicks her in the midsection. Isla hits a high angle back drop driver before locking in a rear chin lock and stretching Aoife. Aoife comes back with a spinning heel kick and several chops and kicks into a blockbuster for a near fall.
Isla then rolls Aoife up for a near fall before Aoife hits a rebound back elbow into a diving ax kick for the pin and the win.
Winner: Aoife Valkyrie defeats Isla Dawn via pinfall.
- We get the announcement of the NXT UK Heritage Cup which will kick off next week before we get promos and video packages for the eight man in the match as we go to commercial.
- We come back to a graphic for Pete Dunne who will be returning to draw the names for the Heritage Cup next week.
Noam Dar vs Ilja Dragunov
Ilja takes Noam down and punches him in mount before Dar gets to his feet and backs him into the ropes for a not so clean break. They dodge each other's strikes before Ilja hits a running cross body for two before hitting a chop to the throat into a senton. Dar gets out of the way when Ilja goes for a 619 and gets back into the ring before meeting Ilja on the top rope. Dar kicks the legs out from under Ilja and sends him crashing down onto the mat for two. Dar kicks Ilja in the chest and chokes him in the ropes before hitting a northern lights suplex for two.
Dar stomps the leg of Ilja before Dragunov comes back with a dropkick and a suplex into a running knee in the corner. Ilja hits Dar with a lariat before countering the Champagne Super Knee Bar before getting a near fall off of the Constantine Special. Dar hits a superman forearm into a dropkick through the ropes before tossing him back inside and hitting the Nova Roller for a near fall. Dar hits a TKO before locking in an armbar and Ilja gets to his feet before they exchange strikes until Ilja hits a bridging suplex for a near fall. Ilja gets distracted by Alexander Wolfe of Imperium before Dar rolls him up for a near fall and Dar accidentally knocks Wolfe off of the apron.
Ilja then hits Dar with Torpedo Moscow for the pin and the win.
Winner: Ilja Dragunov defeats Noam Dar via pinfall.
- NXT UK champion WALTER comes out onto the stage and he and Ilja pose while staring each other down as we go off the air.
