WWE Raw 10/19/20 Results: Women's Title Match, El Grand Gordo Debuts & An Elias Concert

TNA Wrestling Programming Listed On Sportsnet 360 Schedule In 2025

- Alexa Bliss is in the ring to start the show and she says The Fiend is here, The Fiend then makes his way to the ring. Retribution interrupts before The Fiend or Bliss can say anything, Retribution gets in the ring as The Fiend and Bliss remain motionless. The lights go out and The Fiend and Bliss have disappeared when they come back on, The Hurt Business comes out next for their match with Retribution and a massive brawl breaks out between the factions.

- A video package airs highlighting Matthew Riddle.

The Hurt Business (MVP, Shelton Benjamin, Bobby Lashley & Cedric Alexander) vs. Retribution (Ali, Slapjack, Mace & T-Bar)

The match begins with Lashley and T-Bar brawling before Lashley drops him with a shoulder block, Lashley then hits T-Bar with a corner clothesline and some strikes. T-Bar fights back and Lashley nails him with a flat liner, Slapjack tags in and Lashley nails him with a delayed vertical suplex. Alexander tags in and he attacks Slapjack with some strikes, Alexander then hits Slapjack with a front suplex and knee strike for a near fall. MVP tags in and he nails a cornered Slapjack with a bunch of strikes, MVP drops Slapjack with a hard Irish whip for a near fall. Alexander tags in and he nails a cornered Slapjack with more strikes, Alexander goes to the middle rope and a distraction from some Retribution members leads to Slapjack throwing him to the mat below. Ali tags in and he attacks the arm of a downed Alexander, Ali drops Alexander again before landing a basement drop kick for a near fall. Alexander fights back and Ali drops him face first on the top turnbuckle to prevent a springboard move, Ali knocks Alexander out of the ring before sending him into the barricade.

The factions come face to face on the arena floor as The Fiend appears on the big screen before we go to a commercial break, we return from the break to see Benjamin and Mace exchanging strikes in the ring. Mace misses a charge into the corner and Benjamin nails him with a release German suplex, Benjamin follows up with a knee strike on Mace for a near fall. Benjamin keeps Mace down while holding him in a chin lock, Lashley tags in and he clotheslines Mace out of the ring. Mace returns and Lashley nails him with a spine buster, T-Bar tags in and Lashley nails him with a spear for a near fall. Ali interferes and the distraction allows T-Bar to attack Lashley, Lashley gets T-Bar in The Hurt Lock and a tap out follows.

Winners: The Hurt Business (MVP, Shelton Benjamin, Bobby Lashley & Cedric Alexander)

After the match, The Fiend returns and he attacks all the members of Retribution, T-Bar safe Mustafa Ali and The Fiend gets him in the mandible claw before hitting him with Sister Abigail.

- AJ Styles gets the microphone before the next match to credit Raw for drafting a true leader in him, Styles says the real redemption of Raw was the return on AJ Styles. Styles talks about beating Jeff Hardy and Seth Rollins last week on Raw, Styles says he’ll beat Matt Riddle tonight and shepherd Raw into the future.

AJ Styles w/ Jordan Omogbehin vs. Matt Riddle

The match begins with Omogbehin refusing to leave the ring, the referee starts to make a five count and Omogbehin stops him. The referee begs for Omogbehin to leave the ring and he does, Styles immediately nails Riddle with a few strikes. Riddle fights back and he drops Styles after landing some kicks, Riddle traps Styles near the ropes while landing more strikes. Styles fights back and Riddle nails him with multiple gut wrench suplexes, Riddle uses a clothesline to knock Styles out of the ring. Riddle goes to the ring and apron and Omogbehin prevents him from leaping off as we go to a commercial break, we return from the break to see Styles nailing Riddle with a knee lift to the midsection. Styles drops Riddle again before holding him in a modified bear hug, Riddle gets free and he drops Styles with an overhead kick. Riddle then hits a cornered Styles with forearm strikes and an exploder suplex, Riddle goes for the Broton and Styles gets his feet up. Riddle fights back and he eventually drops Styles with a knee strike, Styles recovers and he hits Riddle with a pele kick.

Riddle fights back and he nails Styles with a release German suplex, Styles gets up and he nails Riddle with a ushigoroshi for a near fall. Styles sets up for a Styles Clash and Riddle defends before landing a fisherman buster suplex for a near fall, Riddle goes to the top rope and Styles crotches him. Styles climbs the ropes and Riddle knocks him off after landing a few strikes, Styles returns to the ropes and a striking exchange breaks out until both fall off the ropes. Riddle falls outside the ring and he comes face to face with Omogbehin, Riddle gets back in the ring and Styles nails him with a Styles Clash for a three count.

Winner: AJ Styles w/ Jordan Omogbehin

- A video package airs highlighting the feud between Randy Orton and Drew McIntyre.

- Charly Caruso interviews WWE Champion Drew McIntyre, who says it was always obvious to him that Randy Orton with an evil and selfish person. McIntyre talks about how Orton took out all the WWE Legends on WWE Raw, McIntyre talks about the experience Orton has competing in Hell In A Cell Matches. McIntyre hints that he is wearing all black because he could be attending a funeral, McIntyre says he may show up at Orton’s interview tonight.

Raw Women’s Championship
Asuka (c) vs. Lana

The match begins with Asuka getting Lana in a headlock, Lana gets free and Asuka quickly drops her with a shoulder tackle. Lana and Asuka exchange roll ups before Asuka goes for the Asuka Lock and Lana gets to the ropes, Lana rolls up Asuka for a near fall before nailing her with a few kicks for another near fall. Lana traps Asuka in the corner while landing a bunch of strikes, Asuka fights back and she nails Lana with a high kick. Asuka and Lana have a striking exchange in the middle of the ring, Asuka catches Lana in the Asuka Lock and a tap out follows.

Winner: Asuka, still the Raw Women’s Champion

After the match, Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler attack Asuka and Lana, Jax eventually puts Lana through the announce table while Baszler battles Asuka and fights her off.

- Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler are still in the ring after the commercial break, Jax talks about how people don’t think that she and Baszler are a tag team. Baszler and Jax start arguing in the ring before agreeing that they are good at dominating their foes, Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke come out to interrupt the champions. Lacey Evans comes out next and she is followed by Peyton Royce.

Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler vs. Peyton Royce & Lacey Evans vs. Dana Brooke & Mandy Rose vs. The Riott Squad (Ruby Riott & Liv Morgan)

The match begins with a massive brawl between all the competitors in the match, Royce takes out a bunch of people with a dive and Evans follows suit. The Riott Squad also take everybody out with dives from the top rope as we go to a commercial break, we return from the break to see Royce dropping Morgan with a forearm strike. Evans is tagged in and she drops Morgan before eating a huracanrana, Riott tags in and she shoves Evans to the ground before getting a near fall on a pin attempt. Evans recovers as Rose and Jax tag themselves into the match, Brooke tags in and Jax drops her and Rose with a double suplex. Jax misses a charge into the corner and she crashes into the ring post, Rose tags in and she nails Jax with a knee strike. Brooke tags in and she hits Jax with a swanton bomb for a near fall, everybody hits the ring and they all take each other out. Morgan tags in and she attacks Jax with a bunch of strikes, Evans tags in and Morgan nails her with a double stomp. Riott tags in and she hits Evans with a Riott Kick for a near fall, Baszler interrupts and she helps Jax tag in. Jax nails Evans with a Samoan drop for a three count.

Winners: Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler

- Highlights are shown of the feud between Elias and Jeff Hardy.

- Elias is shown talking to his band backstage.

- Elias is on the stage with his band for a live concert, Elias talks about his album dropping next week and its called “Universal Truth.” Elias and he band have their concert and they perform a total of two songs, Elias says everybody wants an encore and a hooded man has his guitar and he starts playing it. The hooded person is revealed to be Jeff Hardy and he goes after Elias, Hardy swings the guitar at Elias and Elias gets out of the ring.

- The Miz and John Morrison are backstage and Miz talks about how Mandy Rose was saved by him, Tucker appears and he talks about how The Miz tries ruining Otis’ life. Tucker says he’ll find a partner to face The Miz and Morrison tonight, The Miz and Morrison accept the challenge.

- Charly Caruso interviews Elias, who is angry about Jeff Hardy interrupting his concert and he challenges Hardy to a match at WWE Hell In A Cell ‘20.

- The New Day have the microphone before the next match and they talk about being the Raw Tag Team Champions, they talk about how much things have changed for them in the past year. Sheamus interrupts and he talks about The New Day crying last week on Smackdown, Kingston says The New Day will dominate Raw and Smackdown. Kingston and Woods talk about everything Big E did to Sheamus on Smackdown.

Kofi Kingston w/Xavier Woods vs. Sheamus

The match begins with Sheamus taking Kingston down with a headlock, Kingston gets free and he gets Sheamus in a headlock. Kingston gets free and Sheamus drops him with a shoulder tackle, Kingston follows up with a drop kick on Sheamus for a near fall. Sheamus recovers and he attacks Kingston by landing some strikes, Kingston tries fighting back and Sheamus drops him. Kingston escapes a press slam attempt and he knocks Sheamus out of the ring, Sheamus catches a leaping Kingston and he drops him on the ring apron as we go to a commercial break. We return from the break to see Sheamus holding Kingston in a chin lock, Kingston gets free after nailing Sheamus with a jaw breaker. Sheamus quickly recovers and he drops Kingston, Sheamus traps Kingston in the ropes while landing the 10 Beats Of The Bowry. Kingston fights back again and Sheamus nails him with more strikes, Sheamus follows up with a back suplex on Kingston for a near fall. Sheamus keeps Kingston down while holding him in a chin lock, Kingston gets free and he nails Sheamus with a double stomp.

Kingston follows up by nailing Sheamus with drop kicks and clotheslines, Kingston keeps Sheamus down while landing a Boom Drop. Kingston goes for Trouble In Paradise and he winds up landing a top rope cross body block for a near fall, Kingston then hits a charging Sheamus with a head kick. Sheamus recovers to catch a leaping Kingston and land a uranage for a near fall, Sheamus goes for the cloverleaf and he locks it in. Kingston eventually gets free and Sheamus blocks a Trouble In Paradise attempt, Sheamus then hits Kingston with an Alabama slam for a near fall. Sheamus sets up for super White Noise and Kingston gets free to nail Sheamus with a super side Russian leg sweep for a near fall, Kingston goes for the SOS and Sheamus counters with a roll up for a near fall. Kingston eventually nails Sheamus with Trouble In Paradise for a three count.

- Highlights are shown of what went down earlier tonight between The Hurt Business, Retribution and The Fiend.

- Retribution is backstage, with Ali saying The Hurt Business and The Fiend made a big mistake by what they did earlier tonight. Ali says his power is in causing chaos and he embraces that power, Ali says he was watching all the superstars while he was out injured and he has everybody’s secrets. Ali reveals that he was the hacker that appeared on WWE Smackdown, Ali claims greed and corruption have taken over the WWE. Ali says he promised the Retribution members that their truth will be heard, Ali says Retribution will shut everybody down.

- The Hurt Business are celebrating their win backstage when Titus O’Neil approaches them, O’Neil says he wants to be a part of The Hurt Business and take them worldwide. The Hurt Business have a conference and they tell O’Neil that they are in business, The Hurt Business attack O’Neil.

- The Miz & John Morrison get a microphone before the next match and they tell Tucker to bring his tag team partner out, Tucker comes out and he reveals that El Grand Gordo is his tag team partner. The Miz & Morrison say that Gordo is actually Otis, Tucker says Gordo can become the next Rey Mysterio. Miz says that Otis isn’t championship material while mocking him, Miz says that Otis is a joke and he makes the Money In The Bank Contract is a joke. Miz wonders why he gets jeered and Otis gets cheered by the fans, Miz says people are feeling sorry for him. Miz talks about how he separated Otis from Mandy Rose and Tucker, Miz keeps insulting Tucker and Gordo until a brawl breaks out between both teams as we go to a commercial break.

The Miz & John Morrison vs. Tucker & El Grand Gordo

The match begins with Tucker backing Morrison into the corner before landing a middle rope cross body block, Morrison recovers and he drops Tucker with a head kick. Morrison follows up by choking Tucker on the middle rope, Miz tags in and he nails Tucker with a double gut buster alongside Morrison. Miz nails Tucker with a few strikes before tagging Morrison, Morrison and Miz nail Tucker with knee strikes for a near fall. Tucker fights back and Morrison drops him with a series of strikes, Morrison holds Tucker down while applying a straight jacket hold to him. Tucker gets free and he fights back against an attack from both opponents, Gordo tags in and he cleans house against the opposing team. Gordo then hits Miz with a rope assisted arm drag and a slam for a near fall, Morrison interferes and Tucker takes him out. Miz knocks Tucker out of the ring after kicking him, R-Truth hits the ring and that distracts The Miz so Gordo can land an avalanche in the corner. Gordo then hits Miz with an elbow drop and Vader Bomb for a three count.

Winners: Tucker & El Grand Gordo

- The New Day are backstage celebrating with Tucker & El Grand Gordo when Mandy Rose arrives to give Gordo a ham.

- The Firefly Fun House is up next and Bray Wyatt is shown pulling items out of a box, Wyatt welcomes everybody to the season premier of the Firefly Fun House. Wyatt says he cannot wait to make some new friends on Raw, highlights on The Fiend attacking Retribution are shown. Wyatt says that he didn’t know the rabbit had a wife and family before promising to be a better friend, highlights are shown of the abuse the rabbit has taken over the years. The vulture appears and he attacks the rabbit as Wyatt laughs, Alexa Bliss enters the Fun House and she says their fun is just getting started.

Braun Strowman vs. Keith Lee

The match begins with Strowman backing Lee into the corner before landing a few strikes, Strowman follows up by nailing Lee with an avalanche. Strowman then clotheslines Lee out of the ring, Strowman leaves as well and he attacks Lee with a shoulder tackle. Strowman gets Lee in the ring and he follows him in there, Strowman injures his previously hurt ribs while attempting a power slam on Lee. Lee nails Strowman with multiple strikes and a splash for a near fall, Lee traps Strowman in the corner while landing some shoulder thrusts and strikes. Strowman fights back and he nails Lee with more strikes, Strowman misses an avalanche and Lee nails him with a shoulder tackle. Strowman accidentally hits Lee with a low blow while avoiding the Spirit Bomb, Strowman then hits Lee with a big boot for a three count.

Winner: Braun Strowman

After the match, Keith Lee kicks Braun Strowman in the balls.

- Randy Orton makes his way inside the Hell In A Cell structure to address Drew McIntyre, Orton says he wanted the cell to be lowered some he can reflect and remember past cell matches. Orton talks about his history with the cell and how he has never left a piece of himself behind, Orton says he understood what he is truly capable of. Orton talks about his past opponents that battled him in the cell, Orton talks about earning The Undertaker’s respect in their cell match. Orton talks about how the word legend has been thrown around a lot these days, McIntyre interrupts and he goes face to face with Orton while Orton is on the other side of the cell. McIntyre grabs some bolt cutters and he cuts the chain holding the locked door, McIntyre gets in the cell as the show comes to a close.
