WWE Raw (8/19)

  • New Day (Xavier Woods & Kofi Kingston) & Odyssey Jones vs. Karrion Kross & AOP (Rezar & Akam)
  • WWE Women's Tag Team Championships: Unholy Union (Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn) (c) vs. Damage CTRL (Kairi Sane & IYO SKY) vs. Pure Fusion Collective (Shayna Baszler & Zoey Stark)
  • Sheamus vs. Pete Dunne
  • CM Punk to deliver a "can't miss message" to Drew McIntyre
  • Randy Orton to appear
  • Ivy Nile vs. Maxxine Dupri

WWE Raw (8/19/24) Results

- The show opened with Randy Orton. Orton said Gunther made things personal last week when he brought up his family, so he had to drop him with an RKO. Gunther came out and insulted the crowd. He says Randy will never hit him with another RKO. He said he would leave Randy bloody in Berlin and called Randy an underachieving one-trick pony. Just as they were about to fight, Ludwig Kaiser appeared from behind and chop-blocked Randy Orton's leg; Gunther hit him with a clothesline. After a commercial break, it was announced that Orton would fight Kaiser later tonight.

- Sheamus cut a promo on his upcoming match with Pete Dunne.

* Sheamus def. Pete Dunne

- Odyssey Jones, Kofi Kingston, and Xavier Woods are preparing for their match. Xavier talks to Kofi about feeling like he's trying to replace Big E. Kofi says that nobody can do that, and he's just trying to help a younger star because he understands what it feels like. Xavier Woods appears to get on board with the idea.

- Bron Breakker music video plays.

- Chad Gable and the Creed Brothers officially welcomed Ivy Nile to American Made. Gable says they'll focus on the Wyatt Sicks once they're done with American Alpha.

* Ivy Nile vs. Maxxine Dupri ends in a no-contest.

- The Wyatt Sicks arrived on the scene. American Made hit the ring and got between Nikki Cross and Ivy Nile. The rest of the Wyatts showed up, and there was a brawl. Uncle Howdy got physical and laid out Chad Gable with Sister Abigail.

- Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest cut a promo on Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio.

- CM Punk hit the ring and recapped his time at Fanatics Fest NYC. He then announced that he would fight Drew McIntyre in a Strap Match at WWE Bash in Berlin. McIntyre came out and accepted the challenge. He teased about going in the ring and fighting Punk right now but instead teased him about the bracelet with his wife's name

- Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio did a vignette answering the one from earlier in the night from priest and Ripley. Mysterio challenged Priest to a match for tonight.

* New Day (Xavier Woods & Kofi Kingston) & Odyssey Jones def. Karrion Kross & AOP (Rezar & Akam)

- Ripley told Priest that Dom's challenge was likely a trap. Priest suspected it but felt getting his hands on Dom would be worthwhile. He stated that they should not stop until they had passed judgment on Judgment Day.

- Afa Anoa'i tribute vignette played,

* No DQ: Bronson Reed def. The Miz

- Afterward, Reed was going to go up for more Tsunamis, but Braun Strowman arrived on the scene to chase him away.

- Ludwig Kaiser interrupted a Sheamus promo. He teased him about main-eventing while he was in the opening match. Kaiser said that after he's done with Randy, he'll come back and finish his business with Sheamus

- Bron Breakker announces a tournament to determine the next Challenger for the WWE Intercontinental Championship; he promises to beat whoever wins.

* Damian Priest vs. Dominik Mysterio never gets started

- Carlito immediately tries to attack Priest during his entrance. Priest attacks him and Finn Balor and JD McDonagh. Ripley appears behind the Mysterio. She headbutts him and is ready to put him through the announce table, but Morgan arrives with the steel chair and new Judgment Day, then takes over and completely obliterates the terror Twins.

* WWE Women's Tag Team Championships: Unholy Union (Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn) (c) def. Damage CTRL (Kairi Sane & IYO SKY) and Pure Fusion Collective (Shayna Baszler & Zoey Stark)

- New Judgment Day cuts a promo gloating about their beatdown of Priest and Ripley.

- Jackie Redmond interviews Jey Uso and announces he will be in the WWE Intercontinental Championship tournament, which begins next week.

- A Pat McAfee vignette airs. He will return to Raw when the show moves to Netflix in January.

* Randy Orton def. Ludwig Kaiser

- The show closes with Randy Orton brawling with Gunther.
