WWE RAW Results (10/10/22): DX's Anniversary, The Bloodline Appears, United States Title Match, More

AEW International Title Bout Announced For AEW Full Gear

Tonight's episode is the season premiere of WWE's longest-running weekly episodic program. Tonight, D-Generation X will celebrate 25 years of attitudinal behavior. Another faction, The Bloodline will be in Brooklyn as the WWE Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns will have two words for everyone in attendance: Acknowledge Me.

Also, Seth Rollins will challenge Bobby Lashley for the WWE United States Championship as Rollins looks to rebound from his loss to Matt Riddle at WWE Extreme Rules and Austin Theory will go one-on-one with his former mentor, Johnny Gargano as Gargano returns to the Barclays Center.

WWE Raw - October 10

  • WWE United States Championship: Bobby Lashley (c) vs. Seth Rollins
  • Johnny Gargano vs. Austin Theory
  • The Bloodline appears
  • D-Generation X 25th Anniversary Celebration

- The show kicks off with D-Generation X backstage and Triple H, now a man in charge, telling his cohorts what they can and cannot do on the show tonight. This, of course, breaks down into everyone cursing, referencing penis, and rubber cocks being seen and Triple H's desk, leading to a joke about him going to choke his chicken.

- The Bloodline comes to the ring and this is largely a segment about Sami Zayn trying to get Jey Uso under control. Jey asks Roman Reigns if this is all a joke or if he is actually expected to take orders from Sami Zayn. Riddle comes out to interrupt the festivities and challenges Roman Reigns to a match. Roman Reigns declines but Sami Zayn steps up and both men say yeet a bunch of times before agreeing to a match.

- A highlight package is shown of the WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view.

Austin Theory vs. Johnny Gargano

Early in the match, Austin Theory takes control, blocking an Apron DDT into a Death Valley Driver on the apron, leading to a commercial break. Back from the commercial, Johnny hits his Slingshot Spear. Austin gets a two-count following a unique Double Underhook Driver. Both men exchanged reversals before Austin Theory locks in the GragaNo Escape on Johnny Gargano who is able to get out of it before locking it in himself. Austin Theory gets out of the submission leading to an attempt at the A-Town Down, which is reversed but Austin Theory is able to hit a Superkick, he goes for his Roll-Through Dropkick by Johnny counters with a Superkick, and a Tornado DDT on the outside. Johnny then puts Austin away with One Final Beat.

Winner: Johnny Gargano by pinfall.

- Rey Mysterio vs. Chad Gable will take place after the commercial break.

Rey Mysterio vs. Chad Gable

Rey Mysterio starts off the match by showcasing his experience advantage over Chad Gable. Rey gets the advantage by driving Chad into the barricade with a sunset flip. Judgment Day's music hits and Rhea Ripley comes out with Dominik to send us into a commercial.

Back from the commercial, Rhea Ripley and Dominik are watching on as both men continue to exchange holds. Gable hits a German Suplex and eventually locks in an Ankle Lock, which Rey Mysterio counters by sending Chad Gable into the ring post. Outside the ring, Otis sends Otis into the ring post. Rey Mysterio, back in the ring, uses a Tilt-A-Whirl Headscissors into the 619 and a Slingshot Body Press for the victory.

Winner: Rey Mysterio by pinfall.

- After the match, Rey Mysterio is confronted by his son comment who demands that he hit him. Rey Mysterio refuses. Dominik slaps him and Rey Mysterio attacks the other members of the Judgment day before Dominik hits his father, stopping his father from delivering the 619 to Finn Balor. To close the segment, Dominic continued to insist that his father hits him. Rey Mysterio cries and tries to walk away as Dominik hits him and delivers 619.

- Back from a commercial break, Judgment Day cut a promo about how they run Monday Night Raw. Finn Balor boasts about making Edge say I quit at WWE Extreme Rules and they throw the video of the match from this past Saturday. Rhea Ripley boasts about what she did to Beth Phoenix, she's wearing an armband with her name on it as though Beth had passed away. Dominik says watching Rhea Ripley work "did it for him." Finn Balor calls out AJ Styles, and AJ Styles immediately answers the call.

AJ Styles says he's not here to argue with him. He says Finn is right, AJ Styles needs friends. AJ Styles teases joining Judgment Day. Out come Gallows and Anderson who are back in WWE. The OC beat up Judgment Day and sends them scurrying.

- Byron Saxton tries to interview Bayley, asking her whether or not she feels like her plan is no more after losing to Bianca at WWE Extreme Rules. Damage CTRL talks for her and says that they would do anything for Bayley but Bianca's friends can't say the same about her.

- Roman Reigns leaves the arena with Solo and Paul Heyman. Roman tells Jey Uso he needs to watch Sami Zayn for the evening and make sure he wins tonight.

Bayley vs. Candice LeRae

Bayley spent the majority of this match injuring the leg of Candice, she tried to get the victory with the rose plant but Candice reversed it into a pinning combination for the victory.

Winner: Candice LeRae by pinfall.

- After the match, Damage CTRL attacks Candice, Bianca comes out to make the save but gets attacked as well. The segment ends with Damage CTRL celebrating.

- The Miz's birthday party celebration is next.

Maryse hosts The Miz's birthday party, she gives him gigantic balls. Dexter Lumis is hiding with the presents and attacks The Miz again. Maryse goes flying into the cake and after she leaves, Dexter Lumis eats the cake.

- Backstage, DX is hyping up the enhancement talents that are about to face Omos. The Miz demands to see Triple H and instead, DX convinces him to face Dexter Lumis next week and if Dexter wins, he gets a contract. If Dexter Lumis loses, he must leave WWE.

Omos vs. Joseph Torres & Robert Adams

Torres and Adams get their asses kicked. Omos wins easily and attacks them after the match.

Winner: Omos by pinfall.

- Bray Wyatt's full return is replayed.

WWE United States Championship: Bobby Lashley (c) vs. Seth Rollins

A wild and unprovoked Brock Lesnar appears and delivers two F5s to Bobby Lashley before locking in a Kimura Lock. Seth Rollins comes out and demands Bobby fight anyway. Bobby takes the fight and Seth Rollins able to win the United States Championship with a Curb Stomp.

Winner and new WWE United States Champion: Seth Rollins by pinfall.

- After the match, Bobby Lashley challenges Brock Lesnar to show up next week so they can fight.

- A Bray Wyatt promo airs where he says “revel in what you are.”

Matt Riddle vs. Sami Zayn

Jey Uso distracts Sami Zayn, Zayn says he doesn't need his help. Sami Zayn is able to avoid a top rope RKO and puts up a good fight but eventually, Riddle puts him away with an RKO.

Winner: Matt Riddle by pinfall.

- With time running out in the show, D-Generation X immediately comes out in a jeep and they all deliver their old catchphrases. Shawn Michaels makes a joke about putting them out of their misery if they're still here in twenty-five years, and Corey Graves makes a comment about Billy Gunn working with office equipment now. Brooklyn declares they are ready to suck it and everybody goes home happy.
