Good evening Fight Fans, and welcome to our coverage for tonight's edition of WWE RAW!
- We open tonight's show with a recap of Saturday night's Summerslam event before the WWE champion Bobby Lashley and MVP come out to the ring to address his victory over Goldberg and the aftermath with Goldberg's son. MVP notes that Bobby is the first person to stop Goldberg and he was a coward when he quit in their match at Summerslam and that Bobby would put anyone in the Hurt Lock if they rushed the ring an attacked him. MVP then calls the San Diego crowd cowards and that anyone who thinks Bobby owes Goldberg or his son an apology can go to hell before they're interrupted by Damian Priest. Damian calls out Bobby and MVP for bullying Goldberg and the fans before speaking Spanish and saying that he's there face to face to challenge him to a non-title match tonight before saying that if Bobby doesn't accept the challenge, he's the coward. Bobby attacks Damian before Damian comes back with strikes and boots Bobby out of the ring as Bobby screams and nearly rips the barricade down before MVP stops him and says that Bobby accepts his challenge.
MVP then says that Bobby is going to go get changed then come back and face him as we go to commercial.
Damian Priest vs Bobby Lashley (w/ MVP)
Bobby takes Damian down and beats on him in the corner before dropping him with a running forearm in the corner before hitting a running shoulder tackle in the corner and Damian claps his ears before Bobby hits a flat liner and calls for a spear before Damian catches him with a kick. Damian rocks Bobby with strikes before clotheslining him and Sheamus attacks Damian for the disqualification.
Winner: Damian Priest defeats Bobby Lashley via disqualification.
- After the match Sheamus comes out and he and Bobby double up on Damian before Drew McIntyre comes to the save and Drew lays out Sheamus before Drew clears the ring and Damian sends Sheamus over the barricade as Drew suplexes Bobby onto the floor and the announce table as we go to commercial.
Drew McIntyre & Damian Priest vs Bobby Lashley (w/ MVP) & Sheamus
We come back from the break to the match already in progress as Sheamus and Bobby chain together tags and offense before Damian and Sheamus come in and Damian drops drops Sheamus repeatedly before hitting a Broken Arrow for two. Bobby distracts Damian before Sheamus knocks him out of the ring and Bobby drives Damian into the barricade before hoisting him over his shoulder and driving him into the post before Bobby then plays to the crowd and tosses Damian into the barricade. Bobby then sends Damian into the post a second time before getting back into the ring and posing as we go to commercial.
We come back from the break to Sheamus in control of Damian back in the ring until he gets the hot tag to Drew who hits Bobby with several overhead belly to belly suplexes and a neckbreaker before calling for the Claymore and Sheamus distracts him. Bobby hits a spine buster before calling for the spear and Drew side steps him and sends him into the post before Sheamus meets Drew up top and hits an air raid crash for a near fall before Bobby and MVP leave Sheamus. Drew then hits Sheamus with a Claymore once he turns around from seeing Bobby and MVP walking up the ramp for the pin and the win.
Winner: Drew McIntyre and Damian Priest defeat Sheamus and Bobby Lashley via pinfall.
- We get a backstage interview with Doudrop who says that she made a mistake becoming associated with Eva Marie before saying that she likes Doudrop now and she's going to Doudrop her before Eva attacks her and hits her with a luggage crate before smashing her face into it and leaving.
Karrion Kross vs Ricochet
Kross immediately hits a Doomsday Saito before stomping Ricochet down in the corner and beating him down before Ricochet hits a springboard cross body and drops Kross with strikes before Kross turns him inside out with a clothesline. Kross then hits a powerbomb into a Doomsday Saito and locks in the Kross Jacket for the tap and the win.
Winner: Karrion Kross defeats Ricochet via pinfall.
- Backstage Logan Paul meets with the VIking Raiders who give him a shirt.
- Backstage Sheamus confronts Bobby after he left him in their tag match.
- John Morrison comes out for tonight's edition of Moist TV with special guest Logan Paul before The Miz comes out and Logan talks about how his brother is facing Tyron Woodley this weekend in a boxing match as the crowd erupts with boos and "You Suck" chants. Miz continues to get the crowd to boo before asking Logan what round his brother is getting knocked out in before Logan steps to Miz and Miz tells him to get out of his face before John comes between them. Miz then yells at John when he says that Logan could kicks Miz's ass before the two argue and Logan leaves them to continue their arguement before they're interrupted by New Day's Xavier Woods.
Xavier Woods vs The Miz
Xavier and Miz lock up before Xavier backs Miz into the corner for a clean break before Miz locks in a standing side headlock before Xavier rolls him up for two and Miz kicks him away before Xavier chops him when he misses a diving ax handle before Xavier focuses on Miz's knee. Miz immediately recovers and hits a kitchen sink before Xavier hits a jumping senton for two before Miz sends him into the barricade and John pours water all over the floor before Xavier sends Miz sliding into the stairs as we go to commercial.
We come back from the break to Miz in control of Xavier back in the ring before Xavier dodges a clothesline in the corner and hits a draping neckbreaker before sending Miz out of the ring and hitting a wrecking ball dorpkick. Xavier follows up with a flipping senton before John checks on Miz and Xavier tosses him back inside before hitting a diving cross body for two before Miz gets a near fall off of a roll up. Xavier then pins Miz with an inside cradle for the win when Miz goes to pick Xavier up.
Winner: Xavier Woods defeats The Miz via pinfall.
- After the match Miz turns on John and beats him down before laying him out with the Skull Crushing Finale.
- Earlier today Rhea Ripley met with Nikki Kross and the two agreed to team up to take on Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax.
- We get a video package of Reggie doing parkour in the process of defending his 24/7 title.
- We get this week's Progressive Match Flo recapping RKBRO winning the RAW Tag Team titles from AJ Styles and Omos at Summerslam.
- Backstage Riddle meets with Randy who tells him to not do anything stupid before Riddle runs off on his scooter ahead of their championship celebration later tonight.
Jinder Mahal (w/ Veer & Shanky) vs Mansoor (w/ Mustafa Ali)
Mansoor stays one step ahead of Jinder before Jinder catches and suplexes him before Mansoor rolls out of the ring and onto the apron before Mansoor snaps Jinder's neck across the top rope and hits a diving cross body for two. Jinder then boots Mansoor and hits a jumping knee before locking in a straight arm bar with a chin bar before Mansoor hits a stunner and a dropkick before Jinder boots him and stomps him down in the corner before choking him as the referee calls for the bell.
Winner: Mansoor defeats Jinder Mahal via disqualification.
- Backstage Damian celebrates with Drew before Damian thanks Drew who says that there was something in it for him as he doesn't like Bobby and Sheamus before the two agree to go out drinking.
- The newly crowned RAW Women's champion Charlotte Flair comes out to the ring and addresses becoming the RAW Women's champion when she defeated Nikki Cross and Rhea Ripley in a triple threat match before she's interrupted by Alexa Bliss who says that she and Lilly wanted to say hi to Charlotte.
- Backstage Shayna and Nia argue before agreeing to get on the same page tonight and build momentum with a dominant win over Nikki and Rhea.
- We get a vignette for Elias who says talks about how the old Elias is dead and long live the new Elias as he puts a hat on and leaves.
Rhea Ripley & Nikki Cross vs Shayna Baszler & Nia Jax
Shayna and Rhea start the match off before Rhea uses Nikki as a weapon for two on Shayna before Nikki gets two off of a clutch and hits a head scissors into a roll up for one before Shayna takes control and drags Nikki to the corner. Nia then comes in as Shayna stomps Nikki's elbow before Nikki kicks Nia's legs and Nia catches her before Shayna takes out Rhea and Nia slams Nikki before Shayna drops her with a knee and clears the ring as we go to commercial.
We come back from the break to Nia in control of Nikki before she gets the hot tag to Rhea who headbutts Shayna and hits a snap mare into a basement dropkick after knocking Nia off of the apron and hitting a northern lights suplex to Shayna for two. Rhea stomps Shayna down and hits a missile dropkick for two before Nia accidentally splashes Shayna and Rhea sends her out of the ring before Nikki takes out Nia at ringside and Rhea headbutts Shayna when she grabs her. Rhea then hits Shayna with the Riptide and pins her for the win.
Winner: Rhea Ripley and Nikki Cross defeat Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax via pinfall.
- After the match Shayna leaves Nia behind as Rhea laughs at her.
- Backstage John says that he's done with everything associated with Miz and he's going to get revenge on Miz next week.
- We go to the ring for RKBRO's Championship Celebration where Riddle MCs and Randy stands still as Riddle has a large amount of fireworks go off before Riddle says that friendship is as important as a championship before giving Randy hits own scooter before they're interrupted by AJ Styles and Omos. AJ and Omos come out to the ring and AJ mentions that Randy didn't get Riddle anything before saying that he is going to beat Riddle's ass every week until they get a rematch for the tag belts.
- Bobby Lashley versus Sheamus, Eva Marie versus Doudrop, and The Miz versus John Morrison is announced for next week's show.
Riddle (w/ Randy Orton) vs AJ Styles (w/ Omos)
Riddle immediately rolls AJ up for two before taking him down repeatedly and the two exchange standing switches before Aj gets to the ropes for the break before Riddle takes AJ down with a standing side headlock before AJ gets to his feet and backs Riddle into the corner. Riddle comes back with a flurry of kicks and sends AJ out of the ring before hitting a PK from the apron and AJ catches him coming back in through the ropes before Riddle hits a trio of gut wrench suplexes for two. AJ then sends Riddle throat first into the middle rope before smashing his face into the top turnbuckle and hitting a jumping clothesline in the corner before Riddle hits a head scissors that sends them over the top and crashing down onto the floor as we go to commercial.
We come back from the break to Riddle in control before AJ comes back with a flurry and a moonsault into a reverse DDT for two before Riddle counters the Phenomenal Forearm. AJ locks in the Calf Crusher before Riddle counters into a sleeper and AJ rolls back for a near fall before Riddle hits the Final Flash. AJ then knocks Riddle off of the top as Omos takes out Randy at ringside before Randy takes out Omos with the scooter Riddle gave him before Riddle pins AJ with the Bro-Derek.
Winner: Riddle defeats AJ Styles via pinfall.
- After the match Randy hits AJ with an RKO as RKBRO celebrate as we go off the air.
