The OC ("The Phenomenal" AJ Styles, "The Machine Gun" Karl Anderson & "The Big LG" Luke Gallows) interrupted and said that he was surprised that Rhodes was all worked up about the fake retirement, but Rhodes responded by asking Styles was not in the ring to face him man to man. Styles then told Gallows and Anderson to head to the back and laid a verbal SmackDown on Rhodes. Styles said he & Rhodes were nothing alike because while Styles moved up the ladder for nine years before joining WWE, different from Rhodes who "quit" New Japan Pro-Wrestling, TNA, Ring Of Honor, and the place he created (All Elite Wrestling).
Rhodes corrected Styles and said that he had walked away from his previous companies, but he had never quit unless there was something greater to achieve and he was right. • Jackie Redmond interviewed The Unholy Union (Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn) on the ramp, where they promised to win the WWE Women's Tag Titles on their home turf.
