Roman Reigns (c) w/Paul Heyman vs Kevin Owens

KO goes right after Roman before Roman boots him for one before sending him into the side of the cage and following up with a Samoan drop for two. KO counters a Superman punch into a DDT before hitting Roman with right hands and forearms before sending the champion into the side of the cage. KO clotheslines Roman and hits a senton before beating Roman down in the corner and hitting a cannonball for two before Roman counters a pop-up powerbomb. Kevin then hits a frog splash for two as we go to commercial.

We come back to Roman in control, hitting a high angle sit-out powerbomb for two before Kevin hits a pop-up powerbomb for two before Roman drives Kevin into the corner. Roman sets Kevin up on the top turnbuckle before Kevin hits a fisherman's buster for a near fall, Roman coming back with a Superman punch for a near fall of his own. Roman traps Kevin between the ropes and side of the cage before locking in a guillotine before Kevin gets free by pressing Roman's throat into the top rope. KO then hits a stunner for a near fall as we go to commercial.

We come back to the two on the side of the cage before Kevin knocks Roman down and goes for a Swanton Bomb before Roman gets his knees up and spears Kevin for a near fall. Roman tries to exit the cage before Kevin grabs him and sends the door into the face of Roman before driving him into the side of the cage. Kevin goes to exit through the door before Jey Uso stops him and Kevin knocks him back before Roman grabs Kevin. Roman hits Kevin with a Superman punch before Kevin hits a pop-up powerbomb and Jey handcuffs Roman to the side of the cage. Kevin then nearly gets out of the cage before Roman walks out passed him and wins the match.

Winner: Roman Reigns retains his Universal Championship by defeating Kevin Owens when he exits the cage.

- We get a graphic for Jey Uso versus Daniel Bryan later tonight before we see Asuka and Charlotte making their way out to the ring as we go to commercial.

WWE Women's Tag Team Championship Triple Threat Elimination Match

Asuka & Charlotte (c) vs Carmella & Bayley vs Sasha Banks & Bianca Belair

Charlotte and Bayley start the match off with Charlotte dropping Bayley before Bayley stomps her foot and Charlotte chops Bayley across the chest. Asuka and Charlotte double up on Bayley for two before Bayley tags in Carmella who knocks Sasha off of the apron. Asuka hits a running hip attack in the ropes and The corner before Carmella locks in a tarantula in the ropes before Sasha tags herself in. Sasha hits Carmella with a Thesz press and punches her in mount before Charlotte comes in with Bianca as the Riott Squad look on from backstage. Charlotte and Bianca mock each other before they mirror dropkicks and kip ups before everyone hits a move at ringside and Bayley hits Asuka with Bayley to Belly for two as we go to commercial.

We come back to Asuka and Bayley in the ring before Carmella comes in and stomps Asuka in the corner before hitting a float over suplex for two. Bayley and Carmella take turns beating on Asuka in their corner before Asuka gets the hot tag to Bianca who drops Bayley repeatedly and stomps her in the corner. Bianca hits a delayed suplex for a two count that Carmella breaks up before Bianca hits Charlotte with a double chicken wing slam. Carmella and Bayley are eliminated before Sasha nearly eliminates Charlotte with a roll up before Charlotte locks in a figure four. Bianca gives Sasha her ponytail to drag herself to the corner before Bianca comes in and hits a cartwheel moonsault to Charlotte to break up the hold for two.

Charlotte sends Bianca off of the top and Bianca gets two off of an inside cradle before Sasha hits a meteora and Asuka gets the hot tag. Asuka sends Bianca and Sasha out of the ring before Bianca hits Asuka with a sit-out powerbomb for a near fall before Charlotte gets the blind tag. Charlotte then hits Bianca with the Natural Selection to Bianca for the pin and the win.

Winner: Asuka and Charlotte Flair retain their WWE Women's Tag Team titles by defeating Bianca Belair, Carmella, Sasha Banks and Bayley via pinfall.

- Backstage The Street Profits give Sami Zayn a Christmas gift which turns out to be his "I am the Intercontinental champion." with the I am covered with tape that says I was.

- Jey attacks Daniel when he's coming out to the ring before their match as we go to commercial.

Daniel Bryan vs Jey Uso

Jey stomps Daniel and sends him out of the ring before sending him into the barricade and the steps before tossing him back inside. Jey chops Daniel in the corner before DB comes back with chops of his own only for Jey to hit a Samoan drop for two before Daniel comes back and sends Jey out of the ring. Daniel goes for a suicide dive that Jey side steps before they get back into the ring and DB hits a back superplex as we go to commercial.

We come back to Daniel in control, focusing on the now injured leg of Jey before hitting the Yes Kicks and a roundhouse kick before Jey superkicks him twice when he runs at Jey. Jey then hits a diving splash before grabbing his leg and DB locks in the Yes Lock before Jey counters and the two brawl before Daniel hits a running knee for the pin and the win.

Winner: Daniel Bryan defeats Jey Uso via pinfall.

- Backstage Daniel Bryan is interviewed before he announces that he's entering the Royal Rumble next month before Sami Zayn shows up and blames him for everything that's happened to him.

- We get this week's Progressive Match Flo to set up the WWE Intercontinental Championship Lumberjack Match in tonight's main event up next as we go to commercial.

WWE Intercontinental Championship Lumberjack Match

Sami Zayn (c) vs Big-E

The two lock up before E backs Sami into the corner for a clean break before they exchange standing switches and the two run the ropes until E hits a back elbow. Sami drops E in the corner and stomps him before the heel lumberjacks attack E repeatedly before tossing him back inside whenever Sami tosses E out of the ring. E rolls Sami up before locking in a stretch muffler before Sami gets to the ropes for the break and E sends Sami out of the ring before Sami gets clotheslined onto the apron. E then misses a running splash onto the apron before he fights off the heel lumberjacks and Sami hits a tope over the top rope as we go to commercial.

We come back to Sami in control of E, rocking him with jabs and slaps before E comes back with several belly to belly suplexes and a uranage for two. Sami tries to run away before he's put back in by the baby face lumberjacks and Sami rolls E up for two before low blowing E. E crotches Sami on the top turnbuckle before Sami hits a sunset powerbomb for a near fall before missing a Helluva Kick and E spears Sami through the ropes. E then hits a belly to belly into a running splash and the Big Ending once they're back in the ring for the pin and the win.

Winner: Big-E defeats Sami Zayn via pinfall to become the new WWE Intercontinental champion.
