- Rey Mysterio comes out to the ring to start the show before he cuts a promo on Roman ahead of their Hell in a Cell match later tonight and Sunday night at the Hell in the Cell pay-per-view before the cell comes down around Rey and Roman comes out onto the stage before Roman and Paul leave with Rey stuck in the cell as we go to commercial.
Apollo Crews & Commander Azeez vs Big E & Kevin Owens
E and Apollo start the match off before E and KO double team the champion for two before Azeez comes in and boots E and sends him out of the ring before hitting a scoop slam onto the floor as we go to commercial.
We come back from the break to Azeez in control of E before he gets the hot tag to KO who hits a swanton and a pop-up powerbomb for two before Azeez pins KO with the Nigerian Nail.
Winner: Apollo Crews and Commander Azeez defeat Kevin Owens and Big E via pinfall.
- Backstage Kevin barges into Adam and Sonya's office, but the audio goes out and we can't hear what he says before we're told that Kevin versus Sami has been made official for Hell in a Cell.
King of The Ring Crown
Shinsuke Nakamura vs Baron Corbin
Shin and Baron start the match off the match with Baron rolling Shin up for two before Shin hits a sliding German and goes outside and dances as we go to commercial.
We come back from the break to Shin in control before Baron hits a Deep Six for two before Shin hits a snap mare into a sliding knee before hitting a uranage for two before driving his knee into the ribs of Baron before calling for the Kinshasa and Baron turns him inside out. Baron sets Shin up on the top rope before Shin gets down and hits a back elbow before hitting a diving knee and a Kinshasa for the pin and the win.
Winner: Shinsuke Nakamura defeats Baron Corbin via pinfall.
- Bianca Belair comes out to the ring and addresses her title defense against Bayley at Hell in a Cell before Bayley comes out and the two brawl until Bayley lays Bianca out and holds the title in the air.
Angelo Dawkins vs Chad Gable
Otis immediately attacks Angelo when he's coming out to the ring before the match before AA double team on Angelo and send him out of the ring.
Winner: Match never started.
- We get a backstage interview with Cesaro ahead of his match against Seth Rollins at Hell in a Cell before Seth shows up and the two talk before Cesaro knocks Seth backwards and leaves.
Universal Championship Hell in a Cell Match
Roman Reigns (c) vs Rey Mysterio
Rey goes right after Roman and hits him with a chair before they end up outside and Rey hits Roman with a running chair shot as we go to commercial.
We come back from the break to Rey hitting Roman with a fire extinguisher and a puts a chair around the neck of Roman before sending him into the side of the cage and into the post before hitting him with a tool box and Roman briefly comes back with a headbutt. Roman then goes for a spear before Rey dodges him and goes through a table into the side of the cage before Roman swings Rey into the side of the cage and launches him into the side of the cage as we go to commercial.
We come back to the two back in the ring as Roman drops Rey with a Superman punch before calling for a spear and Rey hits a front dropkick before hitting a 619 and Roman drops him with a right hand before running shoulder first into the post and Rey hits a 619 before hitting Roman with a chair. Rey then hits a diving splash onto a chair on-top of Roman before hitting a second frog splash for a near fall before Roman catches him when he goes for a diving seated senton before powerbombing Rey out of the ring, over the top rope and into the side of the cage. Roman then tosses Rey back inside and locks in a variation of a guillotine, similar to a cravat before Rey taps out for the win.
Winner: Roman Reigns retains his Universal title by defeating Rey Mysterio via submission.
- After the match Jimmy Uso comes out to the ring and celebrates with Roman and Paul before Roman makes Rey tap a second time before yelling at Rey as the referee checks on him as we go off the air.
