WWE Smackdown! Live Results for 8/7/18 Smackdown Tag Team Tournament Finals, Becky Lynch & Charlotte vs The Iconics

-Randy Orton comes out to the ring and shows what he did to Jeff Hardy last week before he asks if the WWE Universe still believe and says they're part of the reason why he did what he did. Randy says that he made it his mission to destroy anyone they put on a pedestal and says that they hope Jeff will come save the day, but he won't because he's not there tonight. Randy says that Jeff is somewhere searching for his identity and that he will erase anyone the fans respect because he doesn't get the respect he deserves. Randy talks about being the youngest World Heavyweight Champion and how he has won the WWE Championship thirteen times. Randy then leaves as we go to The Bar watching from backstage and Becky Lynch talking to Charlotte as we go to commercial.

Becky Lynch & Charlotte vs The Iconics

Charlotte starts the match with Billie before she and Becky double team her and Becky is quick to go for the Disarmer, but Peyton pulls her out of the ring. Charlotte then hits a cross body over the top rope and takes out both of The Iconics at ringside as we head to the break.

We come back from commercial to Billie and Charlotte dropping each other and Becky and Peyton tagging in at the same time. Becky hits an exploder suplex and a forearm off of the second rope for a quick two count before locking in the Disarmer. Billie breaks it up before Charlotte comes in and hits a moonsault that takes out both Billie and Peyton. Charlotte then locks in the Figure Eight on Peyton for the tap and the win. 

Winner: Charlotte and Becky Lynch defeat The Iconics via submission when Charlotte submits Peyton with the Figure Eight.

-We get a video package where Samoa Joe attacked the integrity of AJ Styles as a husband and a father last week. AJ comes out to the ring and says he sacrifices for his family, missing birthdays and other special events so that his wife and children can have a better life and give them the best that you can. AJ talks about everything that he and Joe shared a lot of experiences over the years before saying that he will keep his title and Smackdown! Live will stay the house he built. Rusev Day then discuss the recent events that has plagued them the past several weeks before forgiving English, but barring him from ringside before Lana's rematch against Zelina Vega.

Lana vs Zelina Vega

Lana backs Vega onto the corner as soon as the match starts before they end up at ringside, but Lana rolls her back into the ring almost immediately. Vega kicks Lana before beating her down and putting her in a rear chin lock that Lana is quick to escape. Lana hits a suplex for a quick one count before hitting several elbow drops, then hits a bulldog for a quick two count. Lana hits a series of suplexes before Almas gets up on the apron and Zelina hits a code breaker. Rusev turn takes out Almas at ringside before Zelina kicks him in the head.

Almas sends Rusev into the ring post before Lana gets back in the ring and drops Vega with a boot. Lana then goes to the top before Aiden comes out to save Rusev, but knocks Lana from the top turnbuckle before Zelina hits her with running knees in the corner for the pin and the win.

Winner: Zelina Vega defeats Lana via pinfall with a running knee attack in the corner.

-The Miz is interviewed via satellite until Daniel Bryan shows up and attacks him. Miz then lays him out with a glass vase be fire security hauls him off.

Shinsuke Nakamura vs R-TRUTH

Shinsuke hits Truth with several knees before backing him into the corner and hitting Bad Vibrations before Truth hits a huricanrrana and a single leg dropkick into a running splash in the corner. Truth misses a scissor kick before Shinsuke drops him with a wheel kick and hits a flying triangle choke before transitioning into a triangle armbar. Truth gets to the bottom rope for the break before Shinsuke knees him repeatedly on the mat and kicks him in the head before locking in a front choke. Shinsuke then hits a reverse exploder suplex before hitting a Kinshasa for the pin and the win.

Winner: Shinsuke Nakamura defeats R-Truth via pinfall with a Kinshasa.

-The Bludgeon Brothers talk backstage about the finals of the Smackdown! Tag Team Tournament before coming out for a match.

The Bludgeon Brothers vs Local Talent 

The brothers quickly send their three opponents out of the ring before suplexing them on top of each other and dragging one back into the ring before hitting a doomsday device for the pin and the win. 

Winner: The Bludgeon Brothers defeat local performers via pinfall with a doomsday device.

Smackdown! Tag Team Tournament Finals

The Bar vs New Day

Big-E and Cesaro start the match with E overpowering and mocking Cesaro before E powers out of a side headlock and drops him with a back elbow. Kofi comes in and drops Cesaro with a knee for a quick two count before he lands on his feet when Cesaro hits a monkey flip. Kofi dropkicks Cesaro before Sheamus gets the tag and gets dropkicked into the corner before sending Kofi off of the top turnbuckle and outside to the floor. Sheamus tosses Kofi back into the ring after beating on him at ringside, then tags in Cesaro who puts Kofi in an arm triangle choke. Kofi gets out before Sheamus gets the tag once again and drops Kofi from behind for a quick two count as we go to commercial. 

Kofi finally gets to his corner and tags in Big-E before E hits a series of overhead belly to back suplex and a belly to belly. E hits a uranage for a near fall before Sheamus sends him out of the ring. Kofi comes in and drops Cesaro with a running cross body before E misses a splash onto the apron when he becomes the legal man. Sheamus hits a rolling senton before he and Cesaro double team E for a near fall. The Bar then double team E for several minutes for a near fall as we go to commercial.

Sheamus has E on the top turnbuckle as we come back from commercial before Sheamus hits a superplex and Sheamus hits a diving knee drop off of the opposite side for a very close near fall. E counters a cloverleaf and sends Sheamus out of the ring before Cesaro tosses him back in the ring and gets the tag just as Kofi does. Kofi hits a diving cross body and a boom drop before Sheamus pulls Cesaro out of the ring. Kofi hits a trust fall to the outside before he gets back in the ring and Cesaro counters Trouble in Paradise before The Bar hit a double backbreaker for yet another very close near fall. The Bar hit a double team move off of the top for a near fall that Kofi breaks up before Cesaro puts E in a brief swing and locks in a sharpshooter. Kofi hits a tornado DDT off of the barricade to Sheamus before Cesaro turns it into a cross face and E powers out of it before Kofi tags himself in. New Day then hit the Midnight Hour for the pin and the win.

Winner: New Day defeat The Bar via pinfall to gain the right to face the Bludgeon Brothers at Summerslam when they pin Cesaro with the Midnight Hour.
