This is the Fightful.com live coverage for tonight's episode of WWE Smackdown! Live! Tonight we have a great show as Shinsuke Nakamura takes on Shelton Benjamin, Randy Orton and Bobby Roode take on Jinder Mahal and Sunil Singh, New Day take on the Bludgeon Brothers and much more so be sure to come back here at 8 PM EST for all of the action!
Randy Orton & Bobby Roode vs Jinder Mahal & Rusev
Before the match we see that Sunil is unable to go so Rusev comes out and teams up with Jinder as Roode and Jinder start the match. They go back and forth to start the match until Roode sends Rusev off of the apron and hits a blockbuster off of the middle rope for a quick two count. Randy then kills Sunil by throwing him into the barricade when he gets up on the apron as we go to commercial.
Randy is in control as we come back from commercial until Rusev tags Jinder in and the two start tagging in and out and beating on Randy until he finally tags Roode in. Roode drops Jinder repeatedly before hitting a neckbreaker and sending Rusev off of the apron once more and hits a diving clothesline. Roode hits a spinebuster for a near fall that Rusev breaks up before Jinder hits a superkick for a near fall of his own as we go to commercial.
Jinder is in control of Roode as we come back from commercial, he and Rusev double teaming Roode until Roode fights out of a standing arm triangle and tags Randy in. Randy teases an RKO before he and Roode argue and Randy hits him with an RKO. Rusev then hits Randy with the Machka Kick for the pin and the win.
Winner: Rusev & Jinder Mahal defeat Randy Orton & Bobby Roode via pinfall when Rusev hits Randy with the Machka Kick.
Becky Lynch vs Ruby Riott
Ruby drops Becky repeatedly to start the match before they both run the ropes and Becky hits a dropkick that sends Ruby out of the ring. Becky goes out after Ruby and tosses her back in the ring before Ruby sends her out of the ring and backs her into the LED board and back into the ring for a near fall. Ruby drops Becky with a clothesline for a quick two count before whipping her into the corner and Becky comes back with a running cross body. They exchange forearms until Becky drops Ruby with a series of clotheslines only for Ruby to send her into the second turnbuckle face first for a near fall. They then counter each other until Becky pins Ruby with a roll up for the win.
Winner: Becky Lynch defeats Ruby Riott via pinfall with a roll up.
-Daniel Bryan comes out to the ramp and talks the support he's gotten on his road to being cleared before saying that he reluctantly has to continue his job as general manager of Smackdown! Live. Daniel goes on to say that Smackdown Live is still the land of opportunity before saying that if he and Shane win their match against Sami and Kevin that Sami and Kevin will remain fired and if Sami and Kevin win then they will be reinstated. Daniel takes his blazer off and says that he's sick of having to wear it and all of the paperwork among other things and that he just wants to get back in the ring. Daniel then goes on to say that he isn't the underdog anymore and that he will break down any wall that gets in his way before leaving as we go to commercial.
New Day vs Bludgeon Brothers
Rowan is in control of Xavier as we come back from commercial, he and Harper tagging in and out and doubling teaming him until Rowan takes out both Big-E and Kofi at ringside. Rowan then goes to get a hammer before The Usos attack him and the referee is forced to call for the bell.
Winner: No Contest due to interference.
-Dolph has a squash match against Tyler Breeze with Fandango trying to interfere the entire time with Dolph winning with the Zig-Zag before taking out Fandango at ringside as we go to commercial.
Shinsuke Nakamura vs Shelton Benjamin
They grapple to start the match before Shinsuke sends Shelton out of the ring as we go to commercial. Shelton is in control as we come back from commercial until Shinsuke hits a dropkick and a flurry of offense. Shinsuke hits his double running knees in the corner before Shelton hits a bridging suplex for a near fall. Shelton then powers out of a guillotine and hits a wheel kick before Shinsuke hits a knee off of the top and hits the Kinshasa for the pin and the win.
Winner: Shinsuke Nakamura defeats Shelton Benjamin via pinfall with the Kinshasa.
