-Daniel Bryan comes out to the ring to start the show and talks about his match against Rusev where he failed to gain entrance to the Money in the Bank match before he's interrupted by Big Cass who says that he tapped out of his own accord just so he could attack Daniel. They then brawl before being separated by officials as we go to commercial.
Money in the Bank Qualifying Match
New Day vs The Bar
Xavier and Cesaro start the match before The Bar start double teaming him as we go to commercial.
Cesaro is in control as we come back from commercial until Xavier sends him out of the ring and tags Big-E in, E dropping Sheamus repeatedly for a quick two count before The Bar hit a double DDT for a near fall. Cesaro puts E in a Boston crab that Xavier breaks up after sending Sheamus into the ring post. E then sends Sheamus out of the ring before hitting a tope to the outside, then Xavier hits a springboard elbow drop for the pin and the win.
Winner: New Day defeat The Bar via pinfall to gain entrance to the Money in the Bank match when Xavier pins Sheamus with a springboard elbow drop.
-AJ Styles is interviewed before his match against Shinsuke Nakamura to determine the stipulation for their title match at Money in the Bank.-
-Andrade Almas has a squash match against local talent in his Smackdown! Live debut.
-Carmella comes out to the ring and celebrates her defending her WWE Smackdown Women's Championship before Paige comes out and announces that she will be defending her title against Asuka at Money in the Bank as we go to commercial.
Women's Triple Threat Money in the Bank Qualifying Match
Sonya and Mandy attack Becky and double team her to start the match as we go to commercial.
Sonya is in control of Becky as we come back from commercial beating on her in the corner until Becky comes back with a series of clotheslines and an exploder suplex. Sonya catches Becky coming in and drops her for a quick two count before Becky sends Mandy out of the ring. Becky hits a double missile dropkick for a quick two count before Mandy and Becky counter each other until Sonya drops Becky with a sliding knee for a near fall. Mandy then accidentally hits Sonya before Mandy tries for a roll up and Becky counters it into the Disarmer for the pin and the win.
Winner: Becky Lynch defeats Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose to gain entry into the Women's Money in the Bank match when she forces Mandy to submit with the Disarmer.
AJ Styles vs Shinsuke Nakamura
They exchange wrist locks to start the match before exchanging pin attempts, then AJ dropkicks Shinsuke and beats on him on the corner. AJ hits a backbreaker before Shinsuke rolls out of the ring to regroup only for AJ to hit a flying forearm to the outside. Shinsuke counters a kick before hitting a running knee then rolls AJ back into the ring for a quick two count as we go to commercial.
Shinsuke is in control as we come back from commercial, hitting Bad Vibrations in the corner before AJ tries to come back, Shinsuke hitting a single leg dropkick for a quick two count. Shinsuke drops AJ with a series of strikes before AJ comes back with a Pele kick, then hits a sliding forearm into a sit-out face buster for a quick two count. They counter each other until Shinsuke hits a rolling kick into a Michinoku driver for a near fall, then Shinsuke hits double running knees in the corner that sends AJ off of the top and onto the apron. They exchange strikes on the apron until Shinsuke hits a flying knee off of the top and rolls AJ back into the ring for a near fall. They then counter each other until AJ hits an ushigaroshi and a sliding forearm, then Shinsuke hits a Kinshasa for a near fall.
AJ then counters another Kinshasa with a heel kick before Shinsuke acts like AJ low blowed him before finishing with a reverse exploder into another Kinshasa for the pin and the win.
Winner: Shinsuke Nakamura defeats AJ Styles via pinfall with the Kinshasa to earn the right to pick the stipulation for their match at Money in the Bank.
