The United Kingdom tournament has began.
Some first round matches for the United Kingdom tournament are happening on Friday at the Download Festival. Almost all of the first round matches will happen over the two day festival but Drew Gulak and James Gallagher are the only first round match happening on another show. The following are the results of the matches as they are announced.
Jordan Devlin defeats Tyson T-Bone
Joe Coffey defeats Tucker
Dave Mastiff defeats Kenny Williams
Ashton Smith defeats Joseph Conners
Flash Morgan Webster defeats James Drake
Travis Banks defeats Ligero
Zack Gibson defeats Amir Jordan
Jack Gallagher defeats Drew Gulak
The other rounds of the tournaments will happen on June 18th and June 19th in London at Royal Albert Hall but will air later this month. The two day event will include the quarterfinals, semi finals, and finals of the tournament as Pete Dunne will defend his WWE United Kingdom Championship against the winner. There is also a NXT "Mega Match" scheduled and the new United Kingdom General Manager Johnny Saint is said to be present.
Fightful Wrestling will have coverage and results for the two day event in London as well.
