WWE Wrestlemania XXXVII Night Two Results Three Titles Change Hands, Roman Reigns Supreme

Good evening Fight Fans, and welcome to our coverage for night two of Wrestlemania!

Kickoff Show

Jey Uso: Being Back With Sami Zayn Feels Like Old Times

- We open tonight's kickoff with a video package for the match between Randy Orton and The Fiend.

- We get a video package for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship match between the champions Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler and the challengers Natalya and Tamina.

- We get a video package for the United States Championship match between the champion Riddle and the challenger Sheamus.

- We get a recap of last night's event in which Bianca Belair defeated Sasha Banks to become the new Smackdown Women's champion.

- We get a video package for the RAW Women's Championship match between the champion Asuka and the challenger Rhea Ripley.

- We get a recap of the 2021 edition of the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony.

- We get a video package for the Intercontinental Championship match between the champion Big E and the challenger Apollo Crews in which the two will compete in the first ever Nigerian Drum Match.

- We get a video package for Sami Zayn versus Kevin Owens with controversial Youtuber and amateur boxer Logan Paul at ringside.

- We get a video package for the Universal Championship Triple Threat Match as we go off the air.

Main Show

- We open tonight's show with a rendition of the national anthem with the entire roster on the stage before we get the same opening video package for tonight's show as we did last night.

- We open in the arena with our hosts Hulk Hogan and Titus O'Neil before we go to the ring for our opening match between Randy Orton and The Fiend.

Randy Orton vs The Fiend (w/ Alexa Bliss)

Alexa comes out to ringside and turns the crank on a giant jack in the box before The Fiend leaps out and hits a flying clothesline to Randy before the match starts and The Fiend beats Randy down before playing to the crowd and Randy slides out of the ring to regroup before The Fiend goes out after him. Randy rocks The Fiend and hits a back drop onto the announce table before he pops back up and applies the mandible claw on Randy. Randy breaks the hold and hits a draping DDT before they exchange and Randy stomps The Fiend and rocks him with strikes before The Fiend clotheslines him and hits a running cross body before mounting Randy and raining down blows in the ring before missing a senton and sending Randy through the ropes and down onto the floor. Randy then hits a third draping DDT before The Fiend blocks an RKO and locks in the mandible claw before Randy goes down to his knees and Alexa appears on the top turnbuckle and distracts The Fiend before Randy hits him with an RKO for the pin and the win.

Winner: Randy Orton defeats The Fiend via pinfall.

WWE Women's Tag Team Championship Match
Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler (c) vs Natalya & Tamina

Natty and Shayna start the match off before Nia comes in and demands Tamina come in and the two Samoan's face off before exchanging headbutts. Tamina drops Nia and slams Shayna onto her before Natty and Shayna come back in and Natty hits a release German before Tamina clotheslines Shayna. Natalya hits a slingshot into a superkick by Tamina for two before Shayna drops Natty with a knee as Tamina and Nia go at it at ringside until Nia slams Tamina onto the floor. In the ring Shayna takes control of Natty as the tag champs take control and brutalize Natty, focusing solely on her leg until Nia powerbombs Natty for a near fall that Tamina breaks up. Tamina gets the hot tag and drops Shayna with a back elbow before hitting a dragon screw and stomping Shayna down before knocking Nia off of the apron and countering the Kirifuda clutch into a Samoan drop. Shayna catches Tamina up top before Nia comes in and Natty saves Tamina from a superplex before Nia hits a diving cross body onto both Natty and Tamina for two.

Nia screams at Tamina and mocks her before shoving her across the face and Tamina slams her for a near fall before missing a diving splash and tags in Natty. Natty then knocks Shayna off of the apron after she's tagged in before locking in a sharpshooter on Nia and Shayna comes out nowhere and locks in the Kirifuda clutch on Natty who taps for the win.

Winner: Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax retain their WWE Women's Tag Team titles by defeating Natalya and Tamina via submission.

Kevin Owens vs Sami Zayn (w/ Logan Paul)

Kevin immediately drops Sami who rolls out of the ring before KO goes out after him and Sami counters a powerbomb onto the apron before they get back inside and KO drops Sami across the top rope. KO hits a running clothesline in the corner into a cannonball before going up top and Sami goes out onto the apron before booting KO and the two exchange on the apron. Sami hits a brainbuster onto the apron before hitting a falcon arrow back in the ring for two before KO counters a superplex into a variation of an ushigoroshi for a near fall before Sami hits a blue thunderbomb for a near fall of his own. Sami suplexes KO into the corner before hitting a brainbuster for two before beating KO down in the corner and setting him on the top turnbuckle before KO hits a DVD off of the top. KO and Sami then exchange running moves in the corner before KO hits a pair of superkicks and a stunner for the pin and the win.

Winner: Kevin Owens defeats Sami Zayn via pinfall.

- After the match Logan consoles Sami before he tries to shake hands with Kevin and Sami gets in the way before yelling at Logan who shoves him down and Sami leaves before Logan mocks him. Logan then raises Kevin's arm and claps for him before Kevin hits Logan with a stunner and celebrates.

- Backstage Riddle runs into The Great Khali and RVD and the three talk before Riddle heads out to the ring for his title defense against Sheamus.

WWE United States Championship Match
Riddle (c) vs Sheamus

The two exchange strikes before Riddle jumps on Sheamus' back and locks in a sleeper before Sheamus comes back with a tilt-a-whirl slam and hits a backbreaker for two. Riddle comes back with an armbar in the ropes before Sheamus traps him in the ropes and hits him with clubbing blows before Riddle hits a Spanish fly. Riddle rocks Sheamus with strikes before hitting an exploder suplex into a running senton before hitting a jackhammer for a deep two count. Sheamus hits an Alabama slam before Riddle sends Sheamus into the post and hits a German suplex onto the apron before hitting the Floating Bro for a near fall. Sheamus gets to the ropes when Riddle locks in a sleeper before Sheamus hits White Noise into a diving knee drop for a near fall before Riddle dodges a Brogue Kick.

Riddle then goes for an asai moonsault and gets hit with a Brogue Kick in mid-air for the pin and win.

Winner: Sheamus defeats Riddle via pinfall to become the new United States champion.

WWE Intercontinental Championship Nigerian Drum Fight Match
Big E (c) vs Apollo Crews

The two grab kendo sticks from ringside and get into the ring where they exchange strikes with them until E sends Apollo out of the ring and sends him into the barricade. Apollo blocks a shot with a gong and hits E with a kendo stick before they get back into the ring and E sends Apollo out onto the apron and hits a sprear through the ropes. Apollo hits a DVD onto the apron before E dodges getting hit with the steps and E hits a uranage onto the steps before bringing a table into the ring. Apollo comes back with kendo stick shots before missing a dive through the table and E hits Apollo with The Big Ending before E is attacked and laid out by Dabba Kato who comes out of nowhere. Dabba then pulls Apollo on top of E for the pin and the win.

Winner: Apollo Crews defeats Big E via pinfall to become the new Intercontinental champion.

- We get a recap of last night's matches and the matches that have happened tonight so far.

WWE RAW Women's Championship Match
Asuka (c) vs Rhea Ripley

Asuka dropkicks Rhea and is one steps ahead of her move for move early before Rhea rolls out of the ring to regroup before Asuka kicks her against the ropes and misses a running hip attack. Rhea drops Asuka and pancakes her into the mat for two before beating on her in mount and locking in a body scissors before hitting a German suplex when she gets free. Rhea knees Asuka and clotheslines her before Asuka locks in a heel hook and Rhea counters into a release German for two before driving her into the corner and setting her up top. Asuka superkicks Rhea and hits a release German before hitting a running hip attack in the corner and several spinning kicks and fists before hitting a running hip attack for a deep two count. Asuka goes up top and gets dropkicked off and down onto the floor before getting back onto the apron and Rhea sends her face first into the edge of the apron.

Back inside Asuka hits a running hip attack with Rhea on the apron before going out after her and hits a DDT off of the apron and onto the floor before rolling back into the ring and hitting Rhea with a sliding kick for two. Rhea catches another sliding kick and stomps Asuka repeatedly before locking in the Prism Lock and Asuka counters into an armbar before Rhea counters by standing and swinging Asuka into the corner. Rhea hits a superplex for two before Asuka takes her down and goes for a Fujiwara before transitioning into a regular armbar and the Asuka lock. Rhea rolls back and covers Asuka for a near fall before Asuka rocks her with kicks and Rhea hits the Riptide for the pin and the win.

Winner: Rhea Ripley defeats Asuka via pinfall to become the new RAW Women's champion.

WWE Universal Championship Triple Threat Match
Roman Reigns (c) (w/ Paul Heyman & Jey Uso) vs Daniel Bryan vs Edge

Roman takes out Edge before sending DB out of the ring and Jey superkicks DB at ringside before sending him into the steps and Roman dumps Edge out of the ring. Jey superkicks Edge and he and Roman clear the announce table before DB hits a suicide dive to Roman and Jey superkicks him before Edge whips Jey into the steps. Edge attacks Roman and sends him into the barricade and apron repeatedly before spearing Jey onto the steps as DB rolls back into the ring. Edge counters a frankensteiner into a sunset flip for two before DB hits a missile dropkick and goes for a suicide dive, but Roman catches him and hits an overhead belly to belly onto the floor. Edge hits a baseball slide and Roman clotheslines him before Edge counters a spear and Roman counters a spear from Edge before Roman and Edge spear each other.

DB hits a diving headbutt onto Roman for a deep two count before DB takes out both Roman and Edge for two before stomping the face of Roman and locking in the Yes Lock. Edge breaks the hold before Roman taps and Daniel locks the Yes Lock in on Edge before Roman breaks it up and beats on Daniel before powerbombing him onto Edge. Roman powerbombs Daniel off of the steps and through the announce table before Edge spears Roman off of the top of the steps and collapses before Rolling Roman inside and grabbing several chairs. Edge locks in a cross face on Roman with a leg of a chair before Roman nearly taps and Daniel stops him from tapping before the two lock in dual submissions on Roman at the same time. Daniel and Edge headbutt each other while holding onto Roman before DB beats on Edge and stomps him before Edge spears DB and Roman for a near fall that DB breaks up by pulling the referee out of the ring.

Edge hits Roman and Daniel with chairs before hitting Daniel with a conchairto and Jey saves Roman from the same fate before Edge attacks Jey with a chair. Roman then spears Edge before hitting him with a conchairto and dragging him on top of Daniel to pin the both of them and win.

Winner: Roman Reigns retains his Universal title by defeating Daniel Bryan and Edge via pinfall.
