The WWE brand literally spanned the globe this past week for its schedule of live events.
The Raw crew, with a few special additions like Jinder Mahal, made historic stops in Abu Dhabi and India. The Abu Dhabi events marked the first women's wrestling matches ever to be held on the Arab Peninsula--and, due to cultural rules, had Alexa Bliss and Sasha Banks sporting full bodysuits for the occasion. WWE also did some business during the trip, signing its first-ever Kuwaiti wrestler, as well as the company's first Arab woman signee. Smackdown's latest loop was highlighted by a series of champion vs. champion matches, with WWE Champion AJ Styles getting the best of U.S. Champ Baron Corbin.
NXT stayed close to home in Florida, where, although they have already debuted on the main roster, members of the two new female factions -- Absolution and the Riott Squad -- were in action.
