IMPACT Wrestling announced that the Feast or Fired match will return at IMPACT 1000 on September 9. The infamous stipulation match is a roll of the dice for the participants, as they can either earn title shots or get fired by competing in the match.

As of this writing, the participants for the Feast or Fired match have not been announced. The last Feast or Fired match was held in 2018. Overall, the match has been held seven times throughout the company's history.
