Tag team division revived.
The Revival captured the SmackDown Tag Team Titles at WWE Clash of Champions, defeating The New Day when Scott Dawson forced Xavier Woods to tap out. The bad knee of Woods played a big part in the match and was an easy target for the duo of Dawson & Wilder. A Shatter Machine was not enough for The Revival, who decided to add insult to injury by locking Woods in an Inverted Figure Four, forcing the tap.
After the match, The Revival warned that their victory was just the beginning, saying Randy Orton would defeat Kofi Kingston to win the WWE Title later in the night.
