Rey Mysterio is headed to the hall.
WWE announced that Rey Mysterio will be the first inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame 2023.
Mysterio is still an active competitor on WWE SmackDown. He was introduced to the live crowd during the March 10 episode of WWE SmackDown and met with a "You deserve it chant."
As he began to speak, he was immediately interrupted by Dominik Mysterio and The Judgment Day (Rhea Ripley, Damian Priest, & Finn Balor). Dominik did not appreciate Rey being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame because he missed birthdays. Dominik said he was embarrassed to be Rey's son.
Legado Del Fantasma (Santos Escobar, Joaquin Wilde, Cruz Del Toro & Zelina Vega) came out and had Rey's back.
