Rey Mysterio says that Dominik Mysterio will change his ways when he becomes a father.
Dominik Mysterio has recently been hellbent on disrespecting his father, Rey Mysterio. After being borderline tortured by his son and the Judgment Day for months, the 'Master Of The 619' finally agreed to have a match with Dominik Mysterio at WrestleMania 39 on the March 24 episode of SmackDown.
In a new interview with WWE's After The Bell podcast, Rey said that him and his wife have conversations all the time about how Dominik's behavior has changed and how they think he will finally change his ways when he becomes a father.
“My wife and I have conversations all the time about his growth and how his behavior has changed. She would probably know Dominik more than I would because of so many days of being away on the road and her being the mother and father at the same time. Dominik, from day one, was a momma’s boy. He was always attached to my wife. Anytime that Dominik has done something in the past that has hurt my wife, I always tell her… he’s gonna understand sooner or later. I said, ‘Things are really gonna change the day that he becomes a father and really understands the position that we’re both in.’, my wife and I. I said ‘Until then, he’s gonna be doing stupid things all the time, even though he’s 25 years old. Wait till he becomes a father, his life is gonna change, just like it changed our lives.’"
Elsewhere in the interview, Mysterio talked about the fact that he contemplated retirement in 2019. Fans can learn more here.
