Rey Mysterio is asked about WrestleMania 40.
WrestleMania 40 is months away, but seeds have fans are already dreaming up matches for the two-night event. Rey Mysterio is the reigning WWE United States Champion, and will have his hands full with Logan Paul at WWE Crown Jewel, but he has thought of his WrestleMania 40 match.
"I thought about doing Dominik and Rey 2," Mysterio told Ariel Helwani on the MMA Hour when asked about WrestleMania 40 plans. "Something would need to be on the line. Whether I'm still United States Champion or he's still North American Champion. Something would have to be on the line to make it look or feel, 'You have to watch this.' Hair vs. Mask."
Rey battled his son Dominik at WrestleMania 39 with Rey picking up the victory.
