Rhea Ripley vs. Charlotte Flair SmackDown Women's Title Match Made Official For WWE WrestleMania 39

Rhea Ripley has centered in on an opponent for WrestleMania.

After winning women's Royal Rumble match this past Saturday, Rhea Ripley has already made her WrestleMania 39 challenge. On the January 30 edition of WWE Raw, Ripley got straight to the point and challenged Charlotte to a SmackDown Women's Championship Match at the show of shows.

In her promo, Ripley cited the past history between herself and Flair, recalling that she was the one to challenge Flair to their bout back at WrestleMania 36. Ripley and Charlotte's storied history goes back even further back than that, as they have faced off against one another on three other separate occasions, with the most recent match happening on a July 2021 episode of Raw.

WWE went on to confirm the match on their social media channels shortly after.
