Rhea Ripley got matching tattoos with Dominik Mysterio because they weren't booked.
At WWE SummerSlam 2023, only one member of the Judgment Day was booked to wrestle, as Finn Balor lined up to challenge Seth Rollins for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
Despite being the WWE Women's World Champion at the time, Rhea Ripley was not scheduled to compete. 'The Eradicator' wasn't happy with this, so she decided to go get matching tattoos with Dominik Mysterio instead.
“Work is definitely not going to like this story. Whatever, I don’t care. Summerslam 2023, I wasn’t booked. I wasn’t really happy about not being booked because I hadn’t really defended my championship much. So, what Dom and I did, we went to the tattoo parlor instead of getting on the bus to go to work because we weren’t booked, so we weren’t expecting to be there. We’re like, we got a free day, we’re gonna go get tattoos. We went and got ghosts on our thumbs. We have matching ghosts tattoos on our thumbs to symbolize us not being booked. When we sat down to get tattooed, we got called and we were booked. So we had to run back. Well, we definitely took our time. I was like, ‘Yeah, we’ll be there when we’ll be there.’ We went out and we helped Finn and Priest. But yeah, that’s the ghost tattoo," Ripley said on while appearing on the most recent edition of WWE Tattooed.
