Rhea Ripley: Every Time I Have A Championship, I Am Representing The People That Are Outcasts

Rhea Ripley says she represents the outcasts of society.

Rhea Ripley is set to challenge for the WWE Women's World Title at WrestleMania 41, a title she has held twice in the last year. As champion, Rhea has been well aware of people looking up to her as the champion.

While speaking during an interview with Paste Magazine, Ripley spoke about being a role model for people, and how she tries to represent for outcasts.

“You have to be someone that people can look up to,” Ripley says. “I feel like, every time I have a championship, I am representing the people that are the outcasts. There’s a lot more eyes on you. I’m someone—heel or face—that people can look up to that is a little bit different, that doesn’t fit the social norms.”

Ripley is set to face off with Iyo Sky and Bianca Belair in a triple threat match for the championship at WrestleMania 41.

Elsewhere in another interview, Ripley had praise for The Miz. You can read more about that here.
