Ric Flair has had a rollercoaster life, but to say the last two months have been that would be an incredible understatement. Now Ric Flair is speaking out about his experience.
While at a rehab facility, Flair spoke to People TV about his near-death experience last month, which all started because he had a stomach ache. Flair's fiancee Wendy Barlow (known to wrestling fans as Fifi) said that Flair was slowly dying as his organs were shutting down. Flair was never told by Wendy how close he was to death.
Flair told People that it was actually WWE Superstar and daughter Charlotte Flair who informed him of how grave the situation was.
"My stomach was really upset. (Wendy) came and got me and took me to the hospital. My daughter (Charlotte) told me that the doctor told her to go see me -- that I wasn't going to make it. I had no idea it was that bad. Wendy never told me. I’ll never drink again,” says Flair. “I never want to go through this again.”
Flair would conclude by saying that he hopes he can get involved in motivational speaking after he heals up to discuss the dangers of Alcoholism.
