Ricardo Rodriguez Announces Retirement From The Ring

Former WWE ring announcer, manager, and in-ring talent Ricardo Rodriguez has announced on Facebook that he will be retiring from his in-ring career, though he will continue training.

WrestleZone reports that the post stated, “I have decided to hang up the boots and just train/teach. I’m better at that. Anyways plus real life is getting in the way.”

Rodriguez worked as a head trainer for the Great Khali’s wrestling school in India, and is also involved with his old pal Alberto Del Rio (El Patron). He has been working as the cage announcer for Del Rio's Combate Americas MMA promotion.

Rodriguez is best known as Del Rio's personal ring announcer and manager during Del Rio's first run with the company.
