Rich Swann's Attorney Comments On Arrest

Less than one week after being arrested for battery and kidnapping, Rich Swann's attorney has spoken out about the incident.

The situation, which took place between Swann and his wife Vannarah Riggs, saw the two argue, and allegedly both leave a moving vehicle. Swann was released Sunday morning and was subsequently suspended by WWE as per their policy in regards to domestic violence.

Swann's attorney has now issued a statement to Sporting News:

"At this point, no criminal charges have been filed officially against him so depending on how that process plays out will determine our scope of representation. We're hopeful for a fair and quick resolution on behalf of Mr. Swann, but ultimately the state attorney will make their decision when they deem it appropriate. We're working on the case now and things we may do to assist Mr. Swann. But as far as specifics, I can't comment on that."

Fightful learned earlier in the week that Swann's job may have very well been saved by an incident that took place earlier this year that saw Riggs on the outs with WWN during WrestleMania weekend. This gave Rich Swann the benefit of seeing the situation out before additional punishment or a release was handed down.
