Christian Cage beat Bryan Danielson on AEW Collision, but he had some help.
In the main event of the October 14 episode of AEW Collision, Christian Cage defended the TNT Championship against Bryan Danielson. Danielson earned the title shot by defeating Swerve Strickland on the October 10 episode of AEW Dynamite.
Ahead of the match on Collision, Bryan Danielson announced that Nick Wayne and Luchasaurus had been barred from ringside. Once the bell rang, Danielson and Cage battled it out, as they went back and forth. In the end, while Luchasaurus and Wayne were barred from ringside, Ricky Starks and Big Bill interfered. Bill got on the apron and distracted the referee. Starks then quickly snuck into the ring and hit Danielson with one of the AEW World Tag Team Championships. Cage capitalized by pinning Danielson for the win.
That was a CLOSE two count!

Atter the bell, Luchasaurus and Nick Wayne came down, but FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) and Adam Copeland made the save.
