Ricky Starks returns to DEFY.
At DEFY Blueprint on December 29, KENTA defended the DEFY World Championship against Schaff. After the match, Ricky Starks made a surprise appearance and confronted KENTA. KENTA raised his title and walked away.
Starks previously competed at DEFY LOUD in July 2018.

Starks is signed to AEW, but he has not appeared on AEW programming since the March 30 episode of AEW Collision. He recently competed at Glory Pro WrestlePocalypse, where he faced Kody Lane. Starks appeared at GCW Dream On, but he was pulled from his upcoming appearances. He has been announced for House of Glory's Watch The Throne event on January 17, where he will face Mike Santana.
