Ricochet On Kacy Catanzaro Retirement Reports: 'She’s Not Retired At All And She’s Not Injured'

Late last week, a report from Squared Circle Sirens surfaced stating that NXT superstar Kacy Catanzaro would be retiring from the ring.

While Kacy has yet to publicly comment on this matter, her boyfriend, ricochet was recently asked by Sports Illustrated if Kacy would be returning to the ring, and he would state that he is unclear about her in-ring future but make it known that she is not injured.

"She’s still with the company. She’s not retired at all and she’s not injured. It’s a tough sport and we’re all hurting, but there is nothing wrong with her," he said. "She’s very family-oriented and she wants kids, so she doesn’t know if being on the road so much is for her. For me, I’m already too deep—I’m on the road all the time. She loves wrestling and she loves it here, and she’s so good at it, so it’s a very tough decision for her."

Ricochet also commented on having Paul Heyman as an ally behind-the-scenes, "Before I even came to Raw, Paul was always good to me. Our interactions and talks were always great," The former WWE United States Champion admitted. "I think he sees my passion for professional wrestling. I’m a fan of his. If I’m on his good side, I want to stay there. My goal is to get better every single week and do everything I can to the best of my abilities."

Ricochet has a date with destiny this Monday, as he clashes with Samoa Joe and Baron Corbin in a Triple Threat King of the Ring Semifinal bout. That match will take place live from Madison Square Garden.
