Ricochet Says He Is 'Absolutely' Interested In Competing In NJPW G1 Climax

Ricochet is no stranger to tournaments, having won the Battle of Los Angeles twice, the Best of Super Juniors, the inaugural WWE Speed tournament, and much more.

Arguably the most prestigious tournament in all of wrestling is New Japan Pro-Wrestling's G1 Climax, which is a round robin tournament held over the summer.

Speaking to Tim & Eli on Battleground, Ricochet was asked if he might be interested in participating in the G1 now that he's with AEW.

"Yeah, absolutely. I already won Best of the Super Juniors. I feel like I should upgrade my goals to the G1, for sure. There are a lot of things in between that I didn't get to accomplish, that I still plan on accomplishing," he said.

Konosuke Takeshita represented AEW in the G1 Climax in 2024.

Ricochet is set to compete against Sammy Guevara on Wednesday's AEW Dynamite.
