During the March 26 episode of WWE NXT, Ridge Holland says that he is indefinitely taking time away from wrestling.

In his promo, Ridge cited being tired of the job taking away time from his family and he says he's tired of taking his work home. He says the job requires mental and physical resilience and it's in the best interest of his family if you walk away. He says it's been a difficult choice but he cites that he's lucky enough to have had the opportunity and he thanked NXT for allowing him to return to action.

It is not known whether this is a legitimate hiatus or one being used to build a storyline. In recent weeks, Holland has been mentally tortured by his pension for aggression. He also briefly feuded with Shawn Spears.
