The Righteous will challenge for the gold.
On AEW Rampage: Grand Slam on September 22, The Righteous (Vincent and Dutch) competed in a four-way tag team match where the winner would earn a shot at the ROH World Tag Team Championship. They took on The Hardys (Matt and Jeff Hardy), Best Friendd (Trent Beretta and Chuck Taylor), and The Kingdom (Mike Bennett and Matt Taven).
The Kingdom nearly clinched the victory after Bennett hit Taylor below the belt and The Kingdom hit him with a piledriver, but Trent broke up the pin. In the end, Vincent scored the win for his team. After Jeff Hardy hit a Swanton Bomb on Chuck Taylor, The Righteous took him out. Vincent then hit Taylor with a Redrum for the win.
