Rikishi On Jey Uso's Run On WWE Raw: I'm A Proud Pop, I'm Enjoying The Ride. I'm Always Going To Speak My Mind

Rikishi is always rooting for Jey Uso.

WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi, the father of Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, and Solo Sikoa, has been critical of Jey's booking in recent months, as Jey lost in the King of the Ring tournament and the Money in the Bank match. Jey has gained momentum in recent weeks, as he earned a shot at the WWE Intercontinental Championship. He then won the title by beating Bron Breakker on the September 23rd episode of WWE Raw.

Speaking on his Off The Top podcast, which was recorded before Jey Uso won the WWE Intercontinental Championship, Rikishi was asked to comment on Jey's upcoming title match against Bron Breakker.

“I’m a proud pop. I’m a proud family member, watching everything on the sidelines and just enjoying the ride. I’m not there, but I’m riding with him. Know that I’m on the side, that I’m always rooting, I’m the number one fan, and I always gonna speak my mind. Let’s just hope all the boys, everybody in the family and even the boys in the locker room, everybody stays healthy. At the end of the day, the TV shuts off, everybody’s riding and stuff, tired, aching from the night before, injuries and surgeries, but the show goes on. So I can only just wish strength and health to everybody out there that’s doing in. Not just only The Bloodline because it takes other wrestlers to dance with The Bloodline, and vice versa," Rikishi said.
