Speaking on his Off The Top podcast, Rikishi was asked whether he thought that Jey Uso should target the WWE Intercontinental Championship or a world title in 2025.

“I think Jey could go either way. Even now, I was just at the house show in Orlando, and they had Jimmy come out, and then Jey came out. The roof, you can see the whole crowd with the fan engagement with Jey. The crowd loves the dance, loves throwing the hands up, loves yelling ‘Yeet.’ It’s just one of those magic moments that, that’s the true WWE experience, when you have a talent like that that’s so over, to be able to engage with fans and connect with them. Either way, it’s a win-win situation for the company because merch sales goes up, which is great. It’s a win situation for Jey. The fans get to get their hero’s new merch all the time. So if it was me as a wrestler, of course, everybody wants the main one just to say I’ve been there one time or I’ve done that. Anything underneath that or after, it’s just a plus. So let’s see where Jey goes for 2025. He’s not going anywhere. I don’t see him retiring soon. He’s in good shape, very happy, just to be able to be performing with his brothers," Rikishi said.

During the podcast, Rikishi said that he wanted to see Jey Uso feud with Jacob Fatu. Check out his comments here.
