It has been announced via WWE's social media platforms that WWE Hall Of Famer and IMPACT Wrestling co-founder Jeff Jarrett will be in singles action this upcoming Monday to go one-on-one with Elias. In Jarrett's corner will be his running mate -- head writer for SmackDown Live and former WWF Intercontinental Champion Brian "Road Dogg" James.

The issues between Elias and Jeff Jarrett began at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view when Jarrett entered at the #2 spot behind Elias and Elias hit Jeff over the back with a guitar and eliminated the Hall Of Famer from the match. The following night on RAW, Jarrett confronted Elias but brought along Road Dogg and Elias took both of them out and this upcoming Monday, the feud comes to a head as Jeff Jarrett wrestles a singles match in WWE for the first time since 1999. Prior to the 2019 men's Royal Rumble match, the last match that Jarrett worked was in late December of 2018 at the 'EWP Christmas Wrestling' show in Germany.
Also slated for Monday's RAW is a non-title match between Finn Balor and Bobby Lashley, Kurt Angle addressing his future in WWE, and Sasha Banks and Bayley teaming up to face Nikki Cross and Alicia Fox for a spot in the Women's Tag Team Titles Elimination Chamber match in two weeks.
