Road Dogg comments on the potential of one more match.
Recently, Brian “Road Dogg” James was a producer as part of Ric Flair’s Last Match on Sunday, July 31 in Nashville, Tennessee. It has been years since the Road Dogg had a match of his own. His former partner, Billy Gunn is still wrestling sparingly with AEW, where he manages his children, The Gunn Club.
Speaking on the most recent episode of his podcast, Oh, You Didn’t Know, discussed the possibility of one more New Age Outlaws match, but joked he would need a year to get ready. Road Dogg also said, playfully he would prefer not to face FTR in that final match as they would just beat him up.
“Look, I don't know. The New Age Outlaws could do one. I'm going to need a year,” said James. When his co-host, Ryan Katz joked that the match could be against Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard, Road Dogg responded by joking, “Yeah, we can work them, that's a good pace.
“No, we're going to do it with The Young Bucks. Not FTR, because they would make us look crappy. I think The Young Bucks will work with us and be fake wrestling like we need to be. FTR will just beat us up.”
Elsewhere in the podcast, Road Dogg spoke about being excited to be on hand for the upcoming IMPACT Wrestling events in Chicago, Illinois. Read more here.
