On March 27, Tracy James, the wife of Brian "Road Dogg" James said her husband was hospitalized on March 25 after "most likely suffering a heart attack."
She later provided an update saying "Kidneys came back clear and a heart cath is scheduled for Monday."
On March 30, Tracy took to Facebook and said that Road Dogg is set to be released from the hospital on Tuesday, there were no blockages, and his heart is good.
“Wanna give everybody an update I just got the best birthday ever!! my husband has no blockages and he’s getting to come home today we still have some doctor visits to take him to but his heart is good. Thank you all so much for all the prayers I do believe in that,” she wrote.
Later on Tuesday, Road Dogg posted the following comment on Facebook:
“To God be the glory, I live to tell the story! I’m headed home. I’ve got some work to do and some changes to make but I’m up to the task. I want to thank EACH and EVERY one of you for your thoughts and prayers and your kind words. So many reached out with positive vibes and it overwhelmed me with love. Thank you all and God is good! Let the journey begin! #OUDK # GBU #LIVEARMSTRONG,”
Road Dogg currently works at the WWE Performance Center where he teaches classes on in-ring promos and character development. It was recently learned that he assisted Shawn Michaels in running the March 17 episode of NXT.
Fightful will continues to update fans on James' condition as more is known.
