The Rock says a half-naked John Cena was not the guy he wanted to attack.
John Cena seemingly appeared in the nude at the Oscars on March 10, as it looked like he was covered by nothing but the envelope he was holding. He shared a moment with The Rock, who also presented an award alongside Bad Bunny.
During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, The Rock was asked about his interaction with the half-naked John Cena.
Jimmy Kimmel: I had a crazy moment with you last night, actually. It was kind of weird. Coming off the stage with a partially nice John Cena, and we’re going through this little alley, and then there’s you and John Cena. I’m like, I feel like I might be wrestling here in a second. I feel like you guys, I thought afterwards, you really missed an opportunity to promote WrestleMania by attacking each other in that moment. A folding chair, a smash, something like that.
The Rock: Right, a half-naked John Cena isn’t the guy who I want to attack [laughs].
JK: You want him fully naked?
TR: [Laughs] I need him fully naked before I attack him [laughs]. That was his joke, by the way.
JK: I wasn’t kidding.
