The Rock isn't guaranteeing anything when it comes to a WrestleMania showdown with Roman Reigns.
For months, The Rock and Reigns have been linked to a match at WrestleMania. Reigns has said that the match makes sense at WrestleMania 39, which takes place in Hollywood. Many believe the bout makes sense for WrestleMania 38 at AT&T Stadium given the capacity of the venue.
Speaking to Andrew Freund, The Rock was asked about facing Reigns at WrestleMania.
"I can tell you, there is no truth to that right now. Possibly down the road, we will see. We stay very close, myself and Roman Reigns, and I'm very happy and very proud with the work he is doing as well as The Usos, my other family members. Those guys will continue to do what they're doing and we'll see down the road," he said.
That settles that.
WWE was reportedly hopeful that The Rock would be at Survivor Series 2021, but he will be in Australia filming "Young Rock" at the time.
The Rock's new movie "Red Notice" hit theaters on November 5.
