Thrice in a lifetime?
The Rock and John Cena famously faced off in a "Once in a Lifetime" match at WWE WrestleMania 28. Once in a Lifetime briefly became once a year, as they clashed in a rematch at WrestleMania 29. The Rock returned to WWE in February 2024 and aligned with Roman Reigns heading into WrestleMania XL. At WrestleMania XL Night Two, The Rock and Cena had a brief staredown, and The Rock dropped the former champion with a Rock Bottom.
The Rock took to social media on April 12 and commented on his showdown with Cena by saying that he could always see him.

It is not currently known when The Rock or John Cena will return to WWE.
