The Most Electrifying Woman in Sports Entertainment may soon be arriving.
On the latest episode of Chasing Glory with Lilian Garcia, Zelina Vega noted that the daughter of The Rock's, Simone Johnson, has been training at the WWE Performance Center. Vega discussed getting close to The Rock and Simone while filming Fighting with My Family. Vega said that Simone knew she wanted to start wrestling when she saw Vega at Raw shooting the movie and that Simone wants to learn from Vega.
Vega, who grew up idolizing The Rock with her father, dropped to her knees and began to cry when Simone told her that.
Pro Wrestling Sheet reports that Simone has been training at the Performance Center on a part-time basis for the past couple of months. The belief is that she will be training in a "more serious manner in the near future."
Simone told The Hollywood Reporter in November 2017, “I plan to study business in college — NYU, hopefully — and after graduating, I want to pursue wrestling and eventually transition into talent management.”
Simone is just 17 years old and still in high school.
