'Moana 2' scores big at the box office.

The film, which featured The Rock reprising his role as Maui, opened in theaters on Wednesday, November 27. Despite a less-than-ideal 64% critic rating on Rotten Tomatoes, the movie did huge business, raking in $225.2 million dollars domestically over the extended weekend.

With an additional $164 million internationally, the film recorded $389 million dollars worldwide in the five day holiday stretch according to Deadline.

Furthermore, The Rock's other film, 'Red One', scored $12.7M domestically over the three day Thanksgiving weekend. Currently, 'Red One' sits at $148 million dollars worldwide after opening on November 15.

At this pace, 'Moana 2' is on track to become The Rock's highest grossing film since 'The Fate Of The Furious', which was released in 2017. That film grossed $1.23 billion dollars worldwide.

The Rock last appeared in WWE at the Bad Blood premium live event in October, as he came out to confront Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes after their team win over Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu. It is currently unknown when 'The Final Boss' will appear in the company next.
