The Rock Wants Cody Rhodes To Be 'His Champion' And He Wants Cody's Soul

The Rock makes Cody Rhodes an offer on the February 21st episode of WWE SmackDown.

The Rock called out Cody Rhodes and said that they've become great friends over the last year since WrestleMania XL. Rock noted that even Mama Rhodes and Mama Rock were friends.

Rock said that Cody is a great champion, but he wants Cody to be "his champion."

Cody said he is "their champion," indicating he is the champion of the people. Rock said he wants bring Cody to a higher level as "my champion." Rock said if Cody becomes "his champion," he can open up doors for him and his family.

Rock said he thought Cody could be his brother.

Rock confirmed his plans last year were to face Roman Reigns at WrestleMania XL and that Cody needed to step aside. He praised Cody for standing up to him and that's why he wants him to be his champion.

Rock told Cody to think about it, and he would get his answer at WWE Elimination Chamber. Rock said the one thing he wants more than anything in the world is "that."

Cody referenced the Undisputed WWE Championship. Rock said, 'No. I want your soul."

Earlier in the night, WWE GM Nick Aldis announced Rhodes was pulled from the main event by orders of "The Final Boss." Rhodes was scheduled to team with Damian Priest & Braun Strowman against The Bloodline (Jacob Fatu, Solo Sikoa, & Tama Tonga)
