Is Roddy coming back to EVOLVE?
The partnership between WWE and EVOLVE is on full display and it kicked into overdrive in late October at EVOLVE 114 where NXT's Fabian Aichner defeated Shane Strickland to become EVOLVE Champion and on that same night The Street Profits became EVOLVE Tag Team Champions. At the following EVOLVE shows, the likes of Mustafa Ali and Kassius Ohno were on the road with the promotion and there may be another NXT superstar joining the fray come EVOLVE 117 in Queens, New York.
One-half of the current NXT Tag Team Champions, The Undisputed ERA's Roderick Strong noted on Twitter that there are NXT stars holding gold in EVOLVE but there are no bigger stars than The Undisputed ERA. "The Messiah Of The Backbreaker" then concluded his tweet by throwing his name in the hat as a possible challenger to Fabian Aichner's EVOLVE Championship at EVOLVE 117 on December 15th which caught the attention of the booker and creative writer for EVOLVE, Gape Sapolsky.
Thought of the day- NXT Superstars holding #EVOLVE titles? Well there are no bigger Superstars than the #UndisputedERA and I’ve won just about every @WWNLive title but the #EVOLVE title. So Maybe Dec. 15th I come to La Boom and #ShocktheSystem? #OurERA

Results from EVOLVE 117 and 118 will be published here on Fightful once those shows conclude next month but in the mean time catch up on some of the action from past EVOLVE shows by clicking here.
The current IMPACT World Tag Team Champions Santana and Ortiz were set to be a part of EVOLVE 117 but IMPACT Wrestling pulled them from the show and for more on that, check out Fightful's published article on the topic.
