Ring of Honor has a had a lot of ways to earn a shot at the company's World Championship. This month, Lethal will be wrestling Adam Brooks in a proving ground match which can potentially get him a shot and the winner of the International Cup will be wrestling Lethal on the last night of the Honor Re-United tour.
The promotion has now announced Survival of the Fittest 2018 which will produce another contender for the World Championship and will be streamed on Honor Club.

Fans in Pittsburgh and Columbus (Ohio) are extremely passionate about Ring of Honor, and “The Best Wrestling on the Planet” will make its much-anticipated return to those two cities in November.
ROH will present Steel City Excellence, an International Television Taping, in Pittsburgh at Stage AE on Saturday, Nov. 3. Then on Sunday, Nov. 4, ROH heads to Columbus at EXPRESS LIVE! for Survival of the Fittest to stream live worldwide for HonorClub.
Tickets for both events go on sale Wednesday, Aug. 15 at 10 a.m. Eastern for HonorClub members, and Friday, Aug. 17 at 10 a.m. Eastern for the general public.
The last time ROH was in Pittsburgh was April, and that also was a TV taping, highlighted by a wild title match between ROH World Tag Team Champions The Briscoes and The Young Bucks.
The winner of the one-night Survival of the Fittest tournament in Columbus will receive a future shot at the ROH World Championship, currently held by Jay Lethal. The tournament, which originated in 2004, has produced winners such as Lethal, Bryan Danielson, Tyler Black, Adam Cole and last year’s winner, current ROH World Television Champion Punishment Martinez.
