Roman Reigns returned on the September 13th episode of WWE SmackDown, uniting with Cody Rhodes to take out The Bloodline.
After Rhodes successfully defended his Undisputed WWE Title against Solo Sikoa in a cage match, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu entered the cage and attacked Cody. Fatu climbed to the top of the cage and looked as if he was going to dive onto Cody, but Roman's music hit and halted the action.
Roman entered the cage and immediately took out Tonga Loa and Tama Tonga. He was attacked from behind by Solo, but quickly his a superman punch to dispatch of Solo.
Jacob saved Solo and entered the cage to square off with Roman, but he was pulled out by Solo. Tama & Tonga attacked Roman, who was helped by Cody.
Roman and Cody glared at each other to end the segment.
