A new segment has been confirmed for Friday's SmackDown.
On the August 5 edition of WWE Raw, a video package aired confirming that Roman Reigns will be appearing on the August 9 edition of WWE SmackDown. This will be Reigns' first appearance in WWE since returning to company and attacking Solo Sikoa at SummerSlam.

Before being officially announced, Reigns was advertised for SmackDown on WWE's website.
